You’re not likely to find another rep job at BI before 6/30. Sorry, but it’s the truth. Get on LinkedIn and start applying at other companies if you want to avoid unemployment.

This company treats it's employees like crap. Another fine example of how they do not value people. Take your severance and run far far away from this sh^t hole.

Bi is not much different than any other large pharma company. The old saying ‘the grass is not always greener’ does apply here too. If you don’t like BI or the role you currently have, update your résumé and start looking. But realize most pharma companies are the same. Maybe you find a few $$ more at another company. Or big bucks at a smaller start-up. Just realize every new opportunity has a cost.

Try to work through the changes here, max out your severance then find something else and bank your severance check for the kid’s college fund or a good down payment on a vacation home.

Agree! A good manager is most important.

Is anyone gonna try for one of the Animal Health Pilot positions? What’s your take on them?
Hmm animal health? Half the salary maybe some commission if you can actually sell. But wait a minute, you work at BIPI you probably could not sell your way out of a paper bag.
Even the animal health industry knows that BIPI reps are typically the bottom feeders of pharma. Sad how lousy BIPI has become.
Hopefully you have a good track record & can do more than just show up with lunch and throw up.
Animal health is quite a “good ol’ boys club” so you have to be able to play in that sand box. If you have an uncle brother that’s a director- you might be selected.
