At this point everyone is talking about a reorg coming Q4. DMs openly talking about it. Except of course for the douche bag DMs who just spout the company line. Of course though there is nothing concrete just conjecture. But all the rumors beginning to sound the same: no headcount reduction, single DM for CC-CV-Inst in district.

I thought the layoffs / reorg were always in Sept / Oct time frame?

This is a recycled rumor from way back. It rears its ugly head from time-to-time and nothing ever comes of it. There are no new ideas in Pharma. And those CC managers would be chewed up and spit out by the CV/CVI reps and doctors. I pity anyone who has to get that short DM in NC.
 












Been around a long time. Layoffs/re-orgs typically happen in December, just in time for Christmas! If you’re concerned, take action now, or…carry on. Does any of it really matter? At the end of the day, it is just a gamble.

Does anyone have any actual information about layoffs? J&J vs. Contract salesforce? So many areas of the country are just a waste of time for us. How can they keep expensive RBD s who add soooooo little value and they do what ? manage a contract team? They really don't want J&J employees any longer do they?
 




You are exactly right and this has needed to be done for years. Clean house. Reset the bloated middle management ranks and salaries. The blockbuster products are gone. The employment ranks cannot be justified and longer.
 








Everyone’s protecting their jobs at the expense of the Stockholders.
The last reorg. Was 15 years ago. It’s Time for another. Take Blinders Off.


I've been hearing about this reorg forever , is it ever actually going to happen? Do they just circulate the rumor so people leave and make it easier to get the numbers down? Whatever.
 




CVM Mid Atlantic has been destroyed by RBD. Good managers gone toxic. Full Teams now teams of 4 and 6 people. Bring on the reorganization, promote Dee out of here as she has ruined this place. We need new leadership that has a clue, this Region is run like a high school homecoming court and student council, it’s a popularity contest.

I remember dee from Xarelto launch meeting when she was a DM in training. She mean and doesn’t care who knows it.

Don’t post—Q4 it’s coming, talk to your DM—lame posts. What’s your DM saying? People have families to take care of. So wrong to put panic out there without any intel to go with it.

Ask your DM?? Ha! Either they know nothing or they aren’t talking. They can’t spill the beans. They’ve been sworn to secrecy. Some DMs will leak a little here and there but most keep the company secrets until the plan is revealed.
What is up with available jobs in CV? Are there any posted openings? Is there a hiring freeze? Should the sales force expect placements in other therapeutic areas?
If you have questions, ask your DM. So they can lie straight to your face.
