CV Lunch & Learn Budgets

Curious how other regions are handing lunch and learn budgets. Have you had a per month budget spend for a while? If so, what is it? Our region was a free for all. No budget for many years. Spend away. Now all of sudden, way over spent and now have a very small monthly spend amount for rest of year.

It's pretty funny to be honest. 2 weeks ago I was getting yelled at for not having more lunches. Now I am being told I did too many lunches and have almost no money.

This is what happens when they are prepping for layoffs. All of a sudden, budgets are a thing, messages go out to use your vacation (all in an effort to limit your spend while you’re still here and lower the amount they have to pay for unused vacation). Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

Chop your way to the top, decisively not optimistic with expense control seemingly being the way the company will make their number.
