curious how many folks are resigning from takeda

To the post saying they have a upcoming "procedure"-- then take medical leave or FMLA if it has to do with family. That is what you would have needed to do if URL had not sold out to Takeda. You can not be denied medical leave or FMLA. Of course FMLA will be without salary but you will keep your benefits. It is my understanding that you were told you can not take vacation that was not already prior approved but medical leave is different.

OMG people, we all are getting paid 3 months plus severence. It is not 5 months severence. For the ones not chosen to be on Takeda Vacancy Management, we are no longer getting paid car allowance, or cell phones. In a sense those not on TVM have taken a big pay cut and still need to be available for Quintiles beckon call. Consider yourself lucky to have maintained your same income, the rest of us are having to cut back already plus have unemployment looming.

There are many who would still change places with you in a heartbeat because you can apply for a job at your own pace and not worry about rescheduling things for an interview (tons of people had interviews on the books for next week and we all know that pharmaceutical companies are very unwilling to reschedule interviews with people).

The cell phone bills can be written off on your taxes as well as some of the car expenses as they are "job hunting expenses."

That is good advice and it's nice to read that there are helpful people on this message board!

Thanks!
