Curascript down the tubes...

CSP is currently in the dumps. This place is being run by a bunch of idiots who do not care one bit about payors, patients, or employees in addition to not knowing one bit about specialty pharmacy and don't give a $h%t about not knowing the business. People that know the business have left (ran!) from he place.

Papa George and board members... get a clue!!! The place is in the DUMPS!!! Complaints are at an all time high from all areas (clients, patients, employees) and you are just sitting back and doing nothing. Outsiders are taking notice and it is not a positive thing for ESI/CSP.

Actually... I am a current employee who is actively looking to get out of this dump!!! I consider myself one of the only people in my department that does their job and then some. Everyone else is always up the managements a$$...

It's sad that people work for a company that is supposed to help people and they only think about themselves.

Why does this surprise anyone?? Curascript started outsourcing their work overseas last year to save money. They don't care about their employees. They also are trying to drive out all the people who are old timers and bringing in new people from the outside who don't know jack about the business. This business is going down

Just because the department you work for has a crappy boss that doesnt know how to motivate you, dont bring down the rest of the company. I actually really enjoy working for Curascript and I have a fantastic job.

This post made me throw up in my mouth! You must not have worked here very long to feel like this. This company sucks! They treat people like machines, they don't care about you at all. They just keep wanting more and more and force everyone to work so much OT. They have been forcing the staff to work OT for months and just keep pushing them. There is no plan to fix the BS. They need to hire more help that has experience to make up for all the experience they lost. ESI does not know specialty and treat it like mail order. Get a grip if you think this is a good work environment. Less than 3% per year raises sucks.

You make me want to puke. Just go ahead and quit now. Sounds like you are a lazy piece of sh*t that cant cut it in a corporate setting. The reason you got less than a 3% raise is because you suck at what you do and you are a threshold employee. Good employees can receive up to 6%. You might be a better fit as a hostess at Cracker Barrel. Please quit now you are dragging us down.

What department do you work in?? You must be the only one in the company that likes it there. If your department is such a pleasure haven I am sure everyone else would like to work in it. The rest of the company sucks and everyone I know is looking for a job to get out. Good riddance Curascript and ESI you will never learn that people are who make your business and all those idiots you hire outsiders who know nothing are just driving this business into the ground.
6% raise I don't know anyone even the top 20% who got more than 3%!!! They purposely use a 20% upper, 20% under achievers, 60 mid to determine who to give raises to every year, it is not really based off performance but whose ass you kissed all year. Evene if you are a top performer and speak your mind you will ne put in the bottom 20% so the can drive you out or fire you.
They let managers get away with anything, no matter what they do to the employees there are no consequences for them. When managers and directors suck at their jobs and can't perform instead of rating them in the bottom 20% they move them to another area to screw up that business unit also. Or worse yet promote them to a higher position.

Wow, so happy to find this blog.... every word of this is true! I was told by a supervisor, "ESI/CSP no longer cares about the quality to patients, they only care about quantity".
And yeah, i guess you could say, I am a lil p'd off, and no longer there... We don't want to put our true feelings out there when we are still employed. I think it's funny how they hire sup's, directors and managers that have no pharmacy or medical background AT ALL! If they have call center experience or came from Sprint, that gets em in the door at CSP. When hiring a doctor, we don't go to a carpenter, do we?

Your so right, I worked there as a temp and could not wait for my next assignment to leave there. I would never have accepted a job there. There was no training. When you had questions no one was able to answer them. They made even the temp employees work OT or you would not have a job. They did crazy things to their employees like give them points in some weird point system if they didn't work OT. The point system was to be able to fire people. The managers there never worked any of the OT or the Saturdays and Sundays they made these people work. The amount of work was out of control and the pressure to close referrals was so intense that a lot of people would just close them as denied to get the supervisors and managers of their backs. This was the most chaotic environment I ever worked in. I am glad I got reassigned so I didn't have to go back there. The patients sometimes just get caught up in the lack of process and never get their much needed medication, it is pretty sad that the employees there have to endure the lack of training and leadership and then have the amount of stress they have each day. I don't know how some of those people have stayed their all the time that they have. Good luck to all of them there were a lot of nice people there.

Don't worry...if you wait long enough at ESI, they let go of hoards of management & directors go and you get new ones. Supposedly either January or February 2011 is the month they thin out the executive herds ...They just cleared out over 200 IT people (the good ones) and moving all of IT work to India by middle of this year. Next up, they are working on closing out Bloomington MN area office...the state is too employee protective. Luckily Missouri is pro-business. So is Florida, it should be safe. Good luck all.

George Paz is not going to do a darn thing. Why should he when he is still collecting his $10 million a year paycheck. Public info people... How do you feel now about your 0 to 6% raise in July which probably equalled out to less than a dollar?

I was rated a stretch and received a 4% raise. I know... I know... At least you have a job you might say. But I am still trying to make ends meat while the CEO does not have to worry about which bill he is not going to pay this week because he has no money left in his bank account.

This company is full of a bunch of hypocrites and people who could care less, including you Mr. Paz. Those of us that come in and put in 1000% everyday get the shaft.

Oh no, you are stretch. Guess what, this is how it works at ESI - you will get stretch and above average for a couple of years, then you will start to fall in your work rating (all while working your rear off) and then you will be let go or laid off ( or whatever their current HR trend is). This is a process of churning out to the market to keep salaries continually low. As a manager, I had to sit in on their rating of people, and well the lousy people got rated middle of the group each time and the stellar performers were eventually brought down (ya know the bar raised higher for them because they are a victim of their own success). You will be replaced by someone cheaper no doubt. No one, other than those in the inner circle with George or Pat will remain. Have you noticed some of the managers & directors there who just "get by" and never ever are let go -- they are in the inner circle and keep their salaries low...if you are good, you are best to keep a resume ready and prepared for departure now. Only VPs & CEO are to allowed make the big bucks. Those little people working 50 to 60 hours a week "are just lucky to work for such greatness" ;) Best to skid-addle now while you have your self esteem (that will be the next thing they do, is to make you feel bad ...and then your health suffers from it, and then you need meds...wow, that is where ESI can help you with generics funny how they perpetuate their business) Good luck!

I work here on one of the teams that keeps getting changes in supervisors and managers and they keep screwing up!!!! They have changed managers a couple times over the past year or so. Recently they removed 2 supervisors that sucked, but instead of firing them they moved them to screw uo another team. This week they removed the manager again too and same thing moved him to another team. If that were an Iv coordinator that screwed up that bad they would fire us. They need to put someone over the team that can actually help us get the work done not another body in a chair!!!!!!

Post the names and what department they are in so that we all know who they are and we know who to avoid working for. I must admit most of the supervisors and managers here suck, however there are some better than others.

Did any of the managers come from St. Louis? If so, they are in the inner circle and generally will treat people like crap because that is what they are paid the relocation expenses and big bucks for ...and once they are done, they will return to whence they came. Good luck all...

Maybe you will all luck out next week when these losers get their bonuses. Hopefully some of them have been just waiting for that to leave, happens every year. Just the ones that don't really have skills that stay. The smart ones that can find other jobs will be runnng out the door, and who can blame them.

Even more might leave. Rumors are that bonuses are going away (at least at the lower ranks) for Express and other corporations. So this might be the last year for bonuses.
