Am glad I am able to get back into the field and get away from the desk, never again will I do a virtual lunch. For those who’ve milked it for the past 1.5 years and opted to “stay safe at home” the scam is over, either suck it up and do what you wee were hired or leave. Seeing colleagues make stupid bonus for sending emails to anyone and everyone while others did their job when they could (last summer and now), is disgusting

Umm. In case you weren't paying attention, most of us did not "opt" to stay at home. We were instructed to do so per Regeneron policy. We begged to be allowed to do live lunches and were most often denied the request. No one in the field is "milking" it now-many of our customers are still not allowing reps. Oh wait-you must be an entitled manager or even better.....in dermatology where it's wide open. Do us all a favor and well...............

Not a manager and have been in the field every possible day between shut downs. You really didn’t read the prior post…..There are a fair number who are not out in the field or are slow rolling it. That’s a fact. Yes, there are practices and whole institutions that are not allowing reps back and some may never allow the same level of access.
We have too many reps now and practices are selecting which ones they want to call on them - derm/pulm, ophth and onc. Many of those not going out and making an effort are getting accolades for their “accomplishments “ which in many cases are due to a peer’s in person effort. Just putting it out there so it’s in the open

I guess I am still unclear. I hear what you are saying about some reps riding coattails of high performers but was not aware that staying home was an option due to Covid. If you are saying many reps are lazy and not working then ok, that has always been the case and always will be the case but Regeneron is not allowing people to "choose" to stay home. In academic centers and hospital owned practices they are simply not allowing reps onsite.

Actually the last time I checked, going out in the field was not mandatory and the company cannot force reps back out “if they are concerned about their safety “.
 






That’s right it’s totally up to us. Super cool bro culture here and we’ve got each other’s backs to stick it to the man. My RD was taking calls while surfing at the beach LOL

Your RD is a narcissistic buffoon. Their reputation is known across the company. If you’re one of the slackers that plays the game, puts in bogus sales calls in veeva while working from home and doesn’t know the name of the secretary for your biggest practice, then it’s going to be my first priority to expose you for the fraud you are.
