How's the shuffle, cuts, quits and predictions going for the 2Q start?

Some say plenty of jitters in the land of reps and CTLs....

The actions for 2015 will be announced at the yea rend meetings. Many HR personnel will be in attendance as well as the outside contractor responsible for the downsizing program. Stay tuned.

what could CTL's possibly have to worry about? Merck protects these
people like crazy, and even if they do get displaced, they get rep
jobs offered to them at the same level of insane salaries, bonuses,
and benefits…

Merck CTL is the greatest (fraudulent) job in off of Corporate America...
 
















Grastek/Raggytek and Zontivity are LOSERS! Jury is still out on Belsomra. Downsizing would be a good thing..

Ok, yes there will be pc cuts and yes some contract reps added. However, there will still be Merck PC reps in the field. Expect to carry the entire portfolio with much larger geographies. The chosen ones are already in place, last year was an experiment. Think very clearly and you will figure it out. Don't assume ctl's are safe, some reps are in place to replace them. The usual suspects (garbage) will finally be taken to the curb and quickly. Timeline=July. Rather than bogus rankings this time it will be skill set, make sure your profile is upated and pronto.

No big pay or rep jobs....they should not protect managers especially any of those who lead through unethical methods, dissing reps and being brutes....

Time to clean house again on these bad news managers ...some have already been scrapped but more need to get the oversized boot in the rear!

Don't wait to begin a job search the end is very near. Also, it will be announced that the sales award program is being discontinued all due to feedback from the field.

If a territory loses a "third" rep -- through a firing, resignation, retirement -- they are not replacing him with a contract or another Merck employee. This is happening in all states, all types of geographies. The message is clear -- they want two up territories. Managers are being told by directors to make this happen. This is not speculation, exaggeration or doomsday predicting -- these are facts, like them or not.

We're seeing and hearing about spots of new outside hires. Why not just play checkers with existing reps or bring back a displaced who already know the territories and work? I see they have one up territories and this is happening. A call your post bull. Another layer of cuts?
