CRM

Alot of opportunity and not enough time spent in the field. Accounts are being lost and no one is saying a word. I'm being penalized for a weak kae and management. WTF.

Get used to it because it is not going to get easier or better. #beenthere Throw in billing adjustments, crazy and ever changing reimbursements being out of your control along with a comp plan that sucks. If you can handle being micromanaged over things that are out of your control and responsible for everything but control very little, then stay. If not, get out while you can. It won't change and there are plenty of better jobs out there. The only plus is recruiters appreciate the hunter and closer role and if you take a new role somewhere else, it will feel like a swedish massage conpared to this.

Could not have said it better myself. This is the most spot on summary of the SME role. All the external factors that management neglects to see it is not the rep but yet they pound the reps over the head consistently. It really is just time to revamp the stale old style thinking within management.

Welcome to Customer Relationship Management. Is everyone logging calls? Pharma is so much easier and they pay more. Wake up people!

Worked in pharma, lab, and med device, all in sales. Pharma is about 10% of the work compared to labs and about 20% higher in pay. Med device is similar to labcorp in workload but the payoff is much higher. Job security? Not as good as labcorp but who would want to keep a job that sucks and work for a company that sucks as well. Pharma is not the end all be all but working 3/4 hours a day - 5 max, no paperwork, limited emails, no service issues to deal with. And lastly, no battling with home office for 10 forms of approvals for ANYTHING! Not sure how anybody can argue given the choice of what job is more desired. Work on your tan and enjoy your life, no brainer compared to labs. Take a look around labcorp and see how many people look 10 years older than they are. The stress and workload are not worth it.

I can't wait to get out of this shi* hole. F...the spreadsheets, crm, pricing, billing, long hold times, accessioning errors, phlebotomy errors. It keeps getting worse. The service is horrible
