Crickets!

so your offices are giving you pushback about working a full day? Just go out and do your job and earn your paycheck, free car and great benefits or simply leave. I never understood why anyone bitches about this job considering how easy it truely is. So in exchange for $100,000 plus job and free car I have to get up and be at work by 8am and stay working until after 4pm.....wow that is just too difficult!

Here's the thing douche in HO,we do our jobs. You get to go in and punch a clock and go home. Your day is done. Reps get up and drive an hour just to begin a day and then it's hit or miss with who you can see that early. It's usually "hurry up and wait" until a PA or low decile doc has a heart and signs. All the big guys won't call you back for another hour and your under the gun so you have to keep hustling for those signatures all day while you completely ignore the docs who really matter. Cus they are hard to see and there are reps who have the luxury of waiting around to see these guys cus their employer isn't breathing down their neck about why they were in a clinic for 2 hours without a call. And then when you finally get home you have a new LMS assignment along with a manager request for a new territory report in ASI and then you have your expense report and trackers to work on. And then the emails. Dozens of corporate emails to sift through telling you every password needs to be changed to something new. Something with 8 characters,a capital letter and a symbol. Because maybe some pakistanis want to hack in and see what time I had my first call entered into Veeva. Now it's 9pm and I haven't spent any time with my kids or my spouse and they are already going to bed. And I haven't even done my precall planning yet. Why get all this data if we don't even have time to use it other than to generate reports to keep corporate happy. So previous poster,we obviously have different jobs. When you venture out from your cubicle go ask a rep if they are inspired to sell more, sell better in this environment. I don't know of a SINGLE rep in this division who would say yes. But please, if you feel differently, state your name and territory. Please...

Why is Teva having this lavish expensive meeting in Las Vegas? Think of the cost of all the airfare and accommodations. Think of the millions that would be saved by having regional meetings and a teleconference. Why is Teva laying off so many to turn around and spend so extravagantly on something completely unnecessary? This effects all of us.

Not difficult. Just stupid.

This business used to be run by incentivizing hard working sales people that would do literally almost anything to sell their product. A company wouldn't have any reasons to check when their reps were making calls because they knew the people they hired were workers that wanted to run after every dollar they could. Now the incentives have decreased and micromanagement has now begun to grow in every level of management. Moreover, these managers are all living in the past when they used to be reps when expense accounts were huge, there was no such thing as sunshine act, and their bag of products were either brand new to the market or didn't have five competitors. Docs liked seeing them because samples were used, and reps brought value to their practice. Tell me? What value do I bring into the office at 8am or 4:30pm? Do you really think my doctors don't know what beclomethasone is? Get real.

But I will agree with the above poster about one thing... For 100k and a car - get up, do your job and quit blaming the company for not whiping your ass correctly. It's a job, and frankly one that doesn't take much brain power, so if you're unhappy with it, find a side job or get your shit together and move on.
