Jones: It’s been trashed. It’s come to represent a stark and sterling example of corporate hypocrisy. It doesn’t exist in reality. Through the whole episode, through the course of this trial, they would say that they have policies and procedures in place to guard against this sort of practice. But they ignored them. And they did so for profit. I think those were just empty words - on paper and on their building.
