Covid outbreak at recent meeting???

so i heard there was an out break of Covid-19 at a recent novo leadership meeting??? not only do I have to worry about the safety of my family everyday life 2021, Novo has picked up live meetings??



poa meetings with ppl sitting on top of each other and food lines. it is not 2019 novo. all it takes is one person to get sick which spreads this terrible virus to susceptible family members.

I have to agree. As much that’s it is nice to be around folks and have live meetings, this isn’t going to help.
 




There is zero chance this meeting will happen in person. Airports, long lines at buffet style meals, no one having to prove their vaccination status? No chance in hell.

If you’re worried, maybe you should get vaccinated and wear a mask. It’s not Novo’s job to keep your family safe. It’s their job to run a business. If Covid runs rampant thru your home, blame yourself.

Seems to be the norm. I attended the recent AngioDynamics National Sales Meeting and there was an outbreak of COVID 19 there as well!!! Super spreader! Most of us ARE vaccinated but everyone was walking around without masks, hugging and kissing!!! Sure enough like 30 people got COVID!!! The leadership team did nothing!!! No safety precautions, no announcement or contact tracing. They insisted on having this meeting in person rather than virtually and pressured you to attend, like you were “lucky” to even be invited….. yeah thanks for the invite oh and for the deadly virus. Was the open bar worth it????

Yes. You also understand that you can get struck by lightning when you go outside, right? Or crash your car and die. Or trip down the stairs and break your neck. Are you scared? All sorts of things can happen to you - take steps to reduce the risk and reduce the severity of it if it happens to you. It’s called ‘risk management’ not ‘risk avoidance’.

We are out all day everyday in medical facilities and now you’re worried about an in person meeting? This covid hysteria makes absolutely no sense. People have lost all common sense and rational thinking. There’s a 99.7% survival rate!!!!

No. They just don’t want to go to a meeting, and they’re using covid as a crutch. It gets you out of all the stuff you don’t want to do - just ask the teacher’s union. People aren’t really scared. They just act like they are when it’s convenient to them.
 








So I never wear a mask anywhere. I haven’t become infected in 18 months. But now I have to get a vaccine to go to a meeting. But the cdc said last week that a vaccine doesnt stop you from spreading the disease and actually make as contagious as a infected person.
So you just said we are science based and we follow the cdc guidelines.

why make ppl take a vaccine?!

Exactly. This isn't about facts or science. I've been vaccinated, but it is 100% fact that the vaccinated have created the delta and other variants because we used vaccined on ourselves during the height of the pandemic. ( a big no-no that you will know if you have ever worked in the vaccine industry, as I did for many years). We can still carry and transmit, exactly like an unvaccinated. There is no reason for this mandate and just opens up a huge potential for litigation if an employee is forced to take this and then has a serious AE or even dies. I feel like our entire ET watches CNN for all of their news.

You’re an absolute moron. The vaccine vastly reduces the chance you get the disease (by 95%), but if you do get the disease (5%), then you can transmit it just as well as someone who wasn’t vaccinated. But get this, if you’re only around other vaccinated people, their chance of getting it from you is again, 5%. So the chances you get it and then give it to someone else is like 0.25%. And btw, that’s why we need herd immunity.

You really shouldn’t work for a healthcare company if you don’t understand basic health science.

And go get a job elsewhere if you think so little of your colleagues that you would choose to be around them unvaccinated.

False. The variants evolved among the UN vaccinated population and will continue to evolve until enough of us get vaccinated.
