In the arena of clinical laboratory medicine, there is Quest Diagnostics and all the rest who hope to become like Quest Diagnostics. But our success cannot be copied and there is no substitute for the best. When this pandemic is brought to its knees, it will be due to our superior testing. We've got this.

Really, son? Are you proud of the false and misleading statements that BioReference put out to temporarily prop up your failing stock price? What exactly have you done to serve the community? We couldn’t help but notice that when the President of the United States addressed the Nation yesterday with Quest Diagnostics, that BioReference was nowhere to be seen. Why, you ask? Because The Administration doesn’t care about your stupid opinions. Hope this helps.

Shares of Opko Health OPK, +33.80% soared 45% in premarket trading on Friday after the Miami-based company said it has partnered with the New York State Department of Health to create a drive-through testing facility in New Rochelle, N.Y., for COVID-19. It also said it plans to offer up to 5,000 tests a day at other testing sites in New York state that will be set up next week.

While Bio is making false claims about what they “plan” to do, Quest Diagnostics is on the front lines, with our special response team, taking action. This is not the time for substandard, subpar testing at a two bit facility that can barely keep its doors open.

The CMS rate for the superior proprietary test created by Quest Diagnostics will be north of $50. But in these perilous times, we are not focused on reimbursements. Meeting the needs of the community is our #1 priority. Hope this helps.

$51.31 to be exact, not so far north. And as for proprietary, just another LDT which hundreds of other labs will be performing all on the same diagnostic platforms...get over it.
