Anybody with half a brain and close enough to sales leadership within labcorp, is awful!! I am pretty a low key of a person and dont say much but the manahement at labcorp is putrid. No real training, all kiss asses who get put in the role because of either in the club or are good puppets for the top level management. Either way, huge joke. Labcorp managers and alot of sales reps are bottom of the barrel in the medical sales industry. As obama would say, they are Jayvee......

How did that JV comment turn out for Oblahblah? Yes there are a lot of kiss asses and our comp plan is missing the mark but be careful what you wish for. Wonder what Wall St thinks of the management now that we are financially strong. Wonder how they feel now that we trumped Quest as the number 1 lab in the country. Yes some changes are needed but we could be far worse off.....have you ever worked for Quest? I hope they tweek some things. I hope they put a comp plan together geared towards selling. Things are not as bad as they could be.

Well said, but saying labcorp is financially strong because of merger growth is like saying the usa's debt is not a big deal because we can keep printing money. Sooner or later there needs to be organic growth. These numbers are short term and only reflect fancy accounting, not real growth. Time will tell if i am wrong but there is nothing pointing towards real growth. Most of the growth comes from mergers and cutting costs. That can only last so long. Everything could always be worse, true, but labcorp is a terrible place to work.
 






That's BS. LCA is so strong right now. I recommend buying all the stock you can. It will be at 150 a share in no time. The Covance management will be taking over shortly. Believe it!

You know this how? Do you work as a day trader on wall street? Are you a financial analyst? Get out of here with nonsense like this. And didnt labcorp buy covance? If anything there leadership will get cut or integrated.

I agree. I came from Covance and I see the changes already. It seems that LabCorp would like their employees to be happy and they're already promoting within. LabCorp seems to be solid company and I'm happy to work for them. They're talking about integrating us with LabCorp sales. It sounds very pleasing. Better comp plan.

Every division is run differently. This is my opinion.. Bad management and bad comp plan = leave company. Good management and bad comp plan= leave company. I would take bad management + great comp plan any day of the week but i haven't seen that at labcorp in my 2 years as an SME. Resume is out to many recruiters.
