Could there be worse marketers in the world?

Insiders get free shares every year. Why should they spring for shares with their own money when they get plenty for free. I won't pay for them if I got them for free. In the last year Bayh, Canet and Schiffman (bought $200k with his own money) have bought shares with their own money.

Pretty much any insider sale that triggers a tax liability is paid for by the sale of shares:

take a look at Apple and look at the underlying Form 4s to see the sales done for tax purposes:

same thing with Celgene:

Are you going to label Apple and Celgene "D'Enron" as well you ignorant fool. Pretty much all ption vesting that trigger a tax liability are paid for with a stock sale. Look it up, rather than lie here.

You are obviously clueless and know not what you are talking about. Hopefully some of
the people going to prison will be the short posters that repeatedly lie.

You foolish idiot. Not everyone on the board has 60M. You think Dendreon is a great buy at 5. If people on the BoD though DNDN was a great buy at 5, they would buy even more with their own money in addition to their free shares. If they truly believed that D'Enron at some point is going to be a lot higher than 5, they would buy more and more and more.

Why wouldn't the board take their free shares and buy even more with their own money? Here is why. They know what is going on legally. They know arrests and/or just plain removal of high up people (banishment from public companys) is going to drop the stock 2, 3 or 4 points.

You are so pathetically stupid! You are a laughingstock. A complete stupid moron.

All your posts are complete nonsense. You support nothing you say to an outside independent source. You are clueless on tax law.

Schiffman bought $200,000 worth of stock with his own money. Two directors bouught shares within the last year.

I could give two shits at Mitch and hope he winds up in the same prison cell as you. You have cancer patient blood on your hands. Mitch has no impact with Dendreon going forward.

You are an obsessed jerk and from your writings of low IQ.

We have a drug generating over $300 million a year less than 12 months after receiving a Medicare billing code. That certainly is a valuable and meaningful number. Provenge sales will grow.

Minor quarterly declines occur during long-term product growth phases. Many successful drugs have had down quarters in their history. John Johnson's last big product, Erbitux, was only generating $645 million in sales for Imclone when he sold it to Lilly for $6.5 billion in 2008. Erbitux had quarterly sales declines in its history. Imclone's gross margins were only 39% in 2008. In 2007. Imclone revenues were lower than 2006. In 2008, Imclone had its 3rd straight year of profit declines. Pretax income was only $180 million in 2008, the year Johnson sold the company.

Dendreon costs are being cut. Profits will come in time. Dendreon's share price is currently considerably undervalued.

If the company were about the product and technology, it would indeed have sold to a big pharma for a price past the peak. But, instead criminal management created an early peak via a pump and dump scheme who now make the company nothing more than a legal shield.

This is deeply tragic and, I agree, was a major crime against cancer patients as well as stockholders.

This is deeply tragic and, I agree, was a major crime against cancer patients as well as stockholders.

Something that is never underscored in any posts here. I actually wish I was the first to have said those sentiments.

Stockholders, bondholders lost billions which is tragic, but you are absolutely correct that the most tragic part of this is crimes against cancer patients.

If that sick underwater long wants to discuss who has blood on their hands, he can start with the greedy arrogant decision of a corporate psychopath to have the arrogance to choose to go it alone while stating that DNDN knows the product best and wouldn't need any help that the resources of BP would bring in getting the product to as many cancer patients as possible.

The blood on the hands are those who support the criminal who's avarice, arrogance and greed got this product to as few cancer patients as possible. Their continued support of a company that is protecting and shielding this criminal is beyond imagination. A poster on another board just the other day said the "charlatans" at this company should be supported. Talk about blood on hands.

The blood is on the hands of the shorts that handicapped ability to raise more funds at a reasonable dilution. They paid a huge price during the 2007 & 2009 squeezes, this will likely happen again if the current business trend continues.

Hoo-Nose

The blood is on the hands of lying shorts that drove away sales reps. These shorts will one day be held in judgement.

BTW, nearly the entire management team has been replaced in the last 6 months. Dendreon is a whole new company today.

Schiffman hasn't bought a dime of stock in a very long time, he has unloaded >$200K in the last year.

Qwest was an incredible company, started with a brilliant idea: Burlington Northern's right of way for fiber was worth more than the railroad. Enron was becoming the GE of Energy. Then their top people committed crimes and it was no longer about fibers and energy. That's why the D'Enron nickname will stick.

Mitch will eventually plead, and leave with the cronies. I think it will be too late. Even today might be. You just can't harbor a criminal for a year after their crime is exposed and the company's position (morale, staffing, cash, investor confidence) becomes so weak because of it.

Amusing rumor that MG's attny was overheard telling tales. They offered mg a decent plea, very limited jail time, restitution (destitution) and can't ever be an officer of a public company. He very naively states something to the effect that if he has to give up all the money, he wants to do it again! His attny and the prosecutors go nuts and the attny has a cool enough head to say that he wants to build a company again. Once the prosecutors go from thinking of someone as just another perp to really loathing him, well, he's seen his best deal.

Eventually, he will have to tell the story of how he went from exuberant to criminal. The book will be his only source of money.

I am not a short, but shorts are a part of the financial markets. It is legal activity. They thought the stock was going to go down and they made money.

There will not be another dilution or bond offering. Some current people high up at D'Enron are in serious trouble with the law. When that is played out, D'Enron will be in the 2 handle and have maybe a year of cash left. Takeover will have to happen before this.

Schiffman bought about 200k at the end of 2011 as a bullshit scheme. He unloaded well over a million shortly after the criminal baseless guidance at the end of 2010. He is deeply complicit in all of this.

The BoD is the same. BoD more important than management. They have a serious criminal on the BoD. Schiffman is still the CFO. You are a sick delusional underwater long.

Do you really think such a sociopath will plead?

If that rumor is true, then the gov't shouldn't negotiate anymore. They may as well just indict and he can take the current deal after indictment or have a trial. This would really speed up the process.

Have his cronies plead? If they have, then he will have to soon. I doubt they have because that would be the end of their jobs and we would know about it.

He'll be in jail long enough to "get married", rest assured.
