Out of the 20 hospitals I swing through, only 3 are still letting reps through the door, and that's only if you're covering a case. Like another person said, "Save your pennies." I hope most of you have been living well below your means, it's going to get real rough over the next few months.

3 out of 20 are better than the odds I’m facing! How long do you think they’ll keep everyone if this continues through all of April? I’m afraid to think if it goes past that...

I have good friend that works for DePuy Synthes in Ohio. They apparently had a conference call last week with their leadership. The company is working on a compensation package to get them through this stretch.

I has a conf call with our divisions leadership last week. Stryker is looking at different compensation packages for the sales force. No option has been finalized yet but we should hear the details in the coming weeks

That’s awesome. While every other company has already been planning something Stryker is going to get back to us in a few weeks. My guess is best case it’ll be a draw/loan from future commissions. So we’re screwed either way.

Heard this is a rumor and that it is not their plan. From a reliable source too.

This virus is going to linger for months. It has proven extremely virulent. Seems logical hospitals will prohibit reps in the rooms. The amount of precautions and red tape that will be produced from this virus is going to be a game changer for totals. All the facilities will be financially busted looking for cheaper implant prices.

Once hospitals resume to normal status, all of the specialities are going to be fighting to get their electives in a limited number of rooms. How are the surgeon owned surgery centers paying their staff?
