I heard they had a confirmed case at one of the corporate buildings. I foresee MORE back orders on the horizon.
Let’s face it - if you had to pick a function, isn’t Quality the one area that could use some time to work some things out?? On the real though, I’d guess that every company in the industry (and other industries for that matter) are trying to figure how it’s possible to balance the support for employees/families and still delivering revenue/managing cash flow and survival. I can’t imagine that the pressure to perform is greater anywhere than in the sales force, who works on commission and is faced with cancelling cases. Walk in our shoes, salaried Quality dude.Interesting the varying message/framing received from executive leadership as warsaw non-essentials were directed to work from home.
Hanson: Please be safe. If you can work from home, please do.
Manufacturing: Top priority is safety of our people and sterility of our products. We are implementing such-and-such to help ensure our people are, and stay, healthy - including mandatory working from home if you are able.
Quality: MEET YOUR METRICS! THIS IS NOT A VACATION!!!!1!11!!!
I’m sure the hospitals are happy that they are not doing elective total joints since they claim to be losing money on every one!
Yeah, but they make it up in volumeI’m sure the hospitals are happy that they are not doing elective total joints since they claim to be losing money on every one!
So sweet of them to cut salaries during this crisis.
At least we have jobs; be thankful for what you have!
