Considering Medtronic...

So I was working for Dynasplint (insert big sigh) and am one of the 70% just laid off. There is a Medtronic position locally for Baclofen pump rep and wanted to get some opinions and info. After Dynasplint, anything has to be better right?

Anything is a step up from Dynasplint. Sorry to hear you were one of those laid off and good luck to you :)

I took the assessment test for a position and unfortunately I did it at the end of the day with a bunch of distractions popping up. I should have just saved it and come back the next day but was determined to get it done and I'm afraid I didn't do as well as I could have. I never heard anything and didn't even get a response on another position that I applied for in my area. My question...am I stuck with that assessment and put into a "do not consider" category. Is there anyway to get a second chance? I am kicking myself.

Retake the assessment under an assumed name, pass it and show up for the results. Point out that that is not your real name and they must have crossed name wires with another applicant.

Simple.

Anyone know any info on the open Associate Clinical Specialist position in Portland, OR? Management style? Salary? Challenges? Why the territory is open? I understand that patient interaction is awful. Any other insights?

Here's some insight- learn how to write without sounding like an ignorant person. You won't get an interview. Don't waste your time rookie.

If you are the sales rep in the territory, I would never want to interview or get hired! I would hate working with such an arrogant prick who finds enjoyment of insulting others! Could this be your very first position in medical sales? Let me guess, you're single?
