I just had a recruiter call me about a sales position for this division.......

Please leave idiotic comments to yourselves, but can anyone give me any details about the product line, company/division, benefits, expected pay/commission, company car...etc....

I haven't called the recruiter back, and they tell you what you want to hear anyways...I would rather get some real feedback on here.

Appreciate it.

It's the strongest division in my opinion. Been here for 3+ years, but I am sure it's still a 40-45k base. You could easily clear 100k if you are doing what you should be doing! WORKING!

I wouldn't say it's the strongest division at Conmed, but it seems to be making a bit of a come back. The history of the divsion has been very shaky with products on backorder and people leaving or let go. Things have certainly improved, but there is always room to get better. If you have passion to win and compete for business you will be successful here, but if you are expecting a cush device job and have no fight in your gut...you will fail. You will be going up against stronger contracts and competitive product lines, but you have to figure out how to navigate through that.

You should make $100,000 and if you hit President's Club, should get into the $150,000+ range.

If you do come here just be ready to play, there are already way too many benchwarmers.

This is spot on! I would say avg rep make $125k

The average rep doesnt make 125. Its probably close to 95-105. The thing about this company is it has an average product line, and difficult penetration issues going against Boston and Cook. The upside? Its a great entry in to medical sales and once you have a med device job on your resume, you will be able to move on.

I have been called for an interview for the TN position. Hard to tell from reading post what is truth about pay. I don't want a job that will hold me back from making 110K+. I am assuming usual benefits: car, phone, computer, traveling expenses etc....

Depending on the territory, yes. $85k is what you should expect.

Which one are you looking at. I know a bunch of people recently left.

$85 is what one should expect???? Really??? That's it??? And we are talking medical device going into hospitals??? You can make more money doing pharma sales...what a joke!
