Is this for real? There is only one person in the whole company who would actually say this. So incredibly depressing that the VP of sales is actually posting on this site.

Believe what you want, many have gone and come back! At the end of the day we have given you a good product and healthy pay. The surgeons can hustify Altrus so be a strong rep and sell it. Smoke evac is a concern with AORN, so make it a concern with your nurses. Great opportunities with this organization. For the ones interviewing with Conmed, remember that the majority of what you read on here is from reps that have left and were not given a second chance when they wanted to come back. Good selling!

Sean if you spent half as much time trying to fix all the problems that you and DM have caused with the ES Div vs posting on Cafepharma, perhaps some things would be better. You are a total tool.

I dont usually comment but this person is lying.

DM has said many times when you are leave you are gone.

If you are a new rep, you can expect to be micromanaged here more than any other company in Medical sales for not very much money. The QOL under Sean is horrendous. On Saturdays he is policing your weekly reports. It would be one thing if this was working and you were making lots of money but no one is making their numbers due to the incredibly unrealistic goals.
 






SM was one if not the best reps to work for Conmed. The reason he came back was not because he failed at the startup that he went to, it was because of his devotion to Conmed. He is a great leader and I am glad I am able to sell for him. Conmed is better because of him.

Before I read these posts, I actually had some respect for SM! Now I have none and actually dis-respect him. How can a VP that tells the reps not to post on here, sit in his office and post all this crap about how great Conmed is. What a tool!
 






I am a former electrosurgery sales rep. What is this b.s. about wanting to come back? 50 years from now business schools will study the Conmed model as how NOT to run a corporation.

This division is so bad that as GOD is my witness I would not come back to ES even if I had an offer letter in front of me. And by the way, I am unemployed. My sanity and family life is worth more than the lies, threats, harrassment, put-downs, disrespect, with meager compensation.

ES turnover has been so high the last 3 years SM has actually been trying to recruit good reps that left. I left two years ago and I am doing very well with BS. He told me how bad they are hurting for good reps and can now only recruit reps with no medical experience as those that do have experience want no part of this sinking ship. This guy is totally clueless.
