Company Culture

I don't understand why you are disappointed by the lack of originality from our company? Miebo itself is a duplicate of the EU OTC that is sold for less than equivalent of $10, yet our inferior R&D org required partnership to introduce our $400+ presentation while the drug is manufactured externally and not at one of our state-of-art - not - manufacturing facilities. We then disclose "the exact way miebo works is unknown" within the national ad. Our dress up-n-sell CEO also goes out and buys Novartis' DED therapy as a vote of confidence for our "mie-be-ooo." Yet we are held hostage and not allowed to depart with increases to our target goals. Why in the world would any of us not be enthusiastic and proud to work here?
Europe and US market are 2 different worlds. In the US it's a new molecule they had to submit NDA and pay a ton for FDA approval, clinical trials, etc. It's apples to oranges. This place is not that bad, everyone thinks grass is always greener. Ive talked to former colleagues who wish they were still here. When we came over from NVS, there was so much uncertainty and B + L management kept their promise and almost ALL of us were retained. I thank them for that. They did right by the sales team, and paid us the bonuses promised to us. Don't lose perspective, it could've been a whole hell of alot worse. And never forget how badly NVS treated the eyecare sales team after news broke we were being sold. Remember the pretzel head lies? And all the micromanagement? Don't forget that. I'm thankful for B + L!

They are probably driving all these metrics down our throat so more people quit.
There has to be a reorg at some point with how they are moving Aqua to be more account based and purple (for now still getting comp) for those high target accounts. B+L won’t do that for long…they are way to cheap!
We do this every year to year and a half. It’s nothing new. They expect immediate results and then as soon as it gets going the territory alignment changes and people get screwed. Same company, just now more people to screw over…. And they wonder why people have left.

Why advertising doesn't work. I am watching football, and then a commercial shows a pizza that I will never be able to purchase from a chain because the pizza doesn't exist. That chain believes that they can manipulate me into buying their pizza. I have my spots for pizza. I purchase pizza based on my mood. The best pizza places don't need to advertise. To bypass the physician and advertise directly to patients screams desperation. The fascinating part of Facebook's rise is how it created demand. The best products start as these hidden gems that gain notoriety because they are awesome. At some point in an awesome product's lifecycle, it faces a challenging question: should it remain small and keep its awesome allure or grow into something that threatens its awesomeness? Google is just a utility to me. They have the best products, so I use them. They don't need to advertise to me. If my phone doesn't have a Google search bar, I would go to the app store and load one. Even though their political contributions completely contradict my beliefs, I still use their products because I perceive them to be the best. I hate Google just like I hate this company. I will not use this company's products, and I will not work for either company, but I will continue to use Google's products because they are the best.

Then you don’t have my manager. It’s actually 100x worse with this hormonally driven, EEOC red flag and socially retarded manager. Bitch can’t read a room if you write it for them.

DEI peeps are weak and lazy. Need everyone to lower the bar to make it easier for them. They have been raised this way. Fact of life. They hate performance and meritocracy. Gotta throw all that other crap at ya cause they ain’t got game
