Company cars?

Do you all get company cars or a car allowance? Any details would be appreciated Interviewing now and recruiter did not know.

They laid off people in November, laid off an entire sales force on Monday (some of who were in training as recent as a month ago). They lied about knowing of this layoff until recent ( it was called out on 4/16 on this website). No longer offering a company car, you have to purchase your own car. It's a extremely toxic work environment. Stay away unless you absolutely need to make money while you look for something else.

Car allowance and you have to own a car that fits the program criteria (basically a new car). If you're interviewing for a hospital position I'd think twice. We just let go an entire division that was shoehorned into a hospital role. That didn't work out, and now the writing is on the wall for the rest of us. Ofirmev sales will continue to spiral downward because of the price, and the next round of layoffs will be just around the corner. Many of those that were laid off yesterday are stuck with a car note and haven't even made the first payment yet.

Car allowance is $730/month, plus a gas card and .54 per mile. I drive a 7 series BMW.

actually they base your car allowance off a 2015 ford taurus valued at $24,000. They take into consideration how much it costs to insure a car of that value in your area. The most i've heard across the country is around $550.00. No gas card but they will reimburse around $0.22 per mile.

The 7 series BMW driver is obviously losing money but I'm sure they look real cool. Are BMW's still cool?

I get over $700/month because I can negotiate. Maybe if you could negotiate you wouldn't be looking for a job.
