College Football: Will the SEC "6 Peat"

The real USC-southern Cal will be by far the best team in the country. Every time they play an sec team, they dominate. Their reign will continue for several years.

You can`t even write a sentence correctly. Your true conference (big 10) stinks. Now you have to adopt a new team from a different conference just so you don`t get laughed at anymore. AsS wipe

Sec won't travel to play good teams. USC goes to sec and dominates every time. You can't play big boy football if you won't travel to play good non conference games.

Its one thing to not like the SEC out of spite or envy becuase they dominate major college athletics by winning national championships. However, its just plain stupidity and living a life of denial to not recognize the SEC as the dominating conference in major college athletics.

Currently, the Football, Basketball, and Baseball National Champions all call the SEC their home. Football and baseball both had a SEC vs SEC national title game.

8 of 12 SEC teams are headed to the Baseball NCAA tourney.

Yep, SEC envy does run deep especially through that little poor beaten down conference up north.

I love how linus has been banned from posting on CP because he is such a moron. Doesn't make ohio any more relevant. It actually drives home the point that ohio is irrelevant.

SEC envy got the best of him and he got banned as a result.

ohio lost their nerve and realized the SEC will be dominant for at least the next ten years - Scared to death of Georgia so they cancelled the home-and -home series that was on the books. Wimps.

It's not just nice to see all of the BCS Trophies along with holding the National Championship Titles in Football, Basketball and Baseball - It's also nice to see all of the money that comes with being the best. Congrats to each SEC school for contributing to a 10% greater payout this year over last year's payout.

SEC REVENUE DISTRIBUTIONS - LAST 12 YEARS (2000-2012):
2011-12: $241.5 million
2010-11: $219.9 million
2009-10: $209.0 million
2008-09: $132.5 million
2007-08: $127.6 million
2006-07: $122.0 million
2005-06: $116.1 million
2004-05: $110.7 million
2003-04: $108.8 million
2002-03: $101.9 million
2001-02: $95.7 million
2000-01: $78.1 million

Lil 1o tryn to punk out once again with 4 team playoff by wanting 4 conferences champs involved instead of having 4 best teams selected by rankings and committee. Obviously, lil 1o fears they will not have a team qualify for the 4 team playoff. SEC and Big 12 want the 4 best teams to qualify for the 4 team playoff. Nice

You are quite right. Here are two articles that cover your exact point. little ten is scared and they just don't know how to act any other way.

A four team playoff with the four best teams (not conference champions) is coming and there is nothing the little ten can do. Public opinion will expose them the longer they drag this out.

Nice info. My favorite quote from the piece is listed below.

"What’s not a stereotype is that the Big Ten is scared, and I’m talking trembling-in-its-boots scared that it’s going to be left out of the party when a national playoff becomes a reality in 2014."

Bring on the SEC 7 Peat

Now Delaney has flip flopped after the SEC and Big XII have unanimously voted to make the playoffs take the top 4 ranked teams regardless of conference affiliation and is saying he (finally) thinks the best four teams should be in the playoffs BUT...there should be a committee that appoints the top four teams.

This FOOL just can't hide his fear of the SEC. Given that the PAC 12 came out of their meetings last week without a vote on the matter shows that they aren't solid on their Larry Scott's (PAC 12 Commish) former stance in support of Delaney (Read:Delunacy). Now Delaney is losing what little support he has and is grasping at anything he can get.

Odds are that the SEC and Big 12 could have two teams in this playoff but really, it isn't a far stretch to think that two PAC 12 teams could in a really good year do that as well - but the little ten is just too afraid of not being able to do that and fears the SEC will continue to dominate - which WILL happen.

Just wait, the best four teams will be in the playoffs and Delaney won't be able to do a thing about it. What a bunch of absolute wimps the little ten has. Just play football and settle it on the field. The little ten knows it can't and hasn't been able to do that so it is doing it's part to create diversion after diversion to prevent more SEC beat downs.

Priceless....... LMAO...... SEC SEC SEC

Delaney fought the BCS 14-15 years ago and now he is fighting putting the 4 best teams in a playoff. Ya think he knows the lil 1o stinks? Hell, even the dude who runs the lil 1o knows they are inferior. 7 Peat

It really is rewarding to watch how Delunacy had gone from "no playoff" to "conf champs" to "appointed by committee" to...

This is PURE SEC FEAR coming out and now the entire country is seeing how afraid the head of the little ten is of the MIGHTY SEC.
