cns janssen final interviews

what started out as a professional process in working with Quintile's recruitment process
and going thru the entire interview process from HR call to final interview i can only say
what a disappointment and shame on you for dropping the ball... (6593)

I just want to say thank you to Quintiles for NOT hiring me! I still think it unprofessional
being one of the top 2 candidates for the job, sending me all over the place to interview and then after the final interview to never find out the outcome.
But back to my thank you. I apparently wasn't suppose to get that job but another. One that is even better than I could imagine (after over a year without a job).
Not only is it as a member of the pharma company and not contract I also am being paid $85K as my base, $20,000 bonus which is uncapped, truly uncapped no restrictions, platinum benefits, 2013 company car, several overnights a month, generous expense account, 36 days off (20 PTO and 16 holidays including closing Christmas thru New Years Day), paid gym membership and tution assistance after 1 year.
Plus I am working in a therapeutic area that I know very well and love.

I could not of designed a better job. For those still looking, hang in there. It was hard and I thought it would never happen again for me. But it did and came from a recruiter who just happen to see my resume posted on one of many sites.
Employed again. Sounds and feels great.

You were out of work for a year because you suck at what you do. Love how you are bitter that Quintiles (easiest interview ever) didn't want you. You will suck at this new job (if its real) and be collecting off of the Obama tit in to time.

There is nothing anyone with an intelligent or moronic comment (like yours) can say that will deter me from the way I feel. I don't or never have "sucked" as you so eloquently put it at my job. It's competitive and supply and demand period. Quintiles HR and those associated did do a piss poor job regarding the interview process. Top notch in the beginning, flown to Chicago and Atlanta . There is no excuse for getting that far up the food chain and then not getting an email at least to reflect the position went to another. Unprofessional.

My odds of "sucking off the O tit" (again, your grasp and use of the English language is remarkably poor) will be a concern for anyone in any position. I would say my odds are less as I know who I am and what I can deliver, my work ethic and expertise AND I am only 1 of 32 territory managers in the US. Again, a long wait, lots of interviewing but this job is the best opportunity one could want. I just talked to my new mgr today and I know there will be things about any company one might not care for BUT this company just keeps delivering: Corporate card as expected but this company actually pays for your membership fee $90 so you can accumulate points. More icing on the cake.

Bottom line is for those who are doubting themselves, worried like I was just keep doing all the smart things. Heck if my resume had not been posted on every job site of any sort the recruiter who found me would of never done so if I had not advertised my resume.

Stay strong and positive and in your job search think outside the box.

Re: Physical Required?

It's been over 15 years since I interviewed in Pharma. Does Janssen require a physical before firming up the offer?

I've put on a few pounds......

Quintiles is the hiring company, so I doubt Janssen would have that level of invasiveness... come to think of it, a physical before getting an offer? I surely hope we're not coming to that in any industry (but then again, some hospital systems are saying they won't hire anyone who smokes cigarettes).
