Clovis

Don't just blame Tamara. Mikey from compliance was in the know as well.

Your kidding, right? Both HR and compliance knew about this activity, fake calls on docs dying of cancer or living 1,000 miles away, display fees for gift cards and 100 dollar per plate meals, stolen documents from Amgen. Wow, great examples of integrity.

So managers are hired. How many reps are they looking for? Used to work for AZ before GNE and hated it so handing it to them would be nice. Right squad at top to do it. DH and SC were top NSDs at GNE, KM is wicked smart, awesome marketing and training leadership and East Sales director supposed to be good. I love and respect GNE, but f I were to leave, it would be for this kind of opportunity. Does anyone know if stock is being offered? Not interested if not even with that crew there.

6-Could you keep the RM from Denver away as well. The one that covered up for the DM that showed up to work for 3 hours in 11months. She stated that she would support the manager, even if he did not show up to work at all. We simply can not charge patients to pay for a manger to rarely show up to work and for a RM that would cover up such behavior. We do not believe in trying to take every last cent from a Cancer Patient as they are fighting Cancer.

Thank you for addressing this during the interview process.

Whoever you are, I think you have an obsessive mental disorder and you need help. And a life.

Look at the people who went to Onyx if you really want a view of the Clovis future. A buyout within 2-3 years. People at the top will make bank, and everyone else will have a few thousand $$ after Uncle Sam takes his cut..., and they'll have to find a new job.

Have fun with that.

Amgen OBU reps hate Onyx and I've heard any Onyx rep that stays and is integrated into Amgen is getting hazed by their Amgen counterparts. Even Amgen DMs are getting into the act. Amgen reps have been making taunting remarks and physically looking to harm Onyx reps. It's a blood bath if Onyx reps don't leave.

This is not true. What, do you just read CP posts on other companies boards and take them as fact? Buyouts are never easy and some people will lose their jobs. But, nothing in this industry is a guarantee. Sometimes taking a chance can be financially worth it. I have a friend who just made out really well during the purchase of Salix. I've been through two layoffs myself and made money with both severance packages. However, it was dog eat dog in my district as we waited to see who would be cut and who would stay. We all worked for the same company but knew there weren't spots for all of us. It was awful. A lot of self-preservation, which I hate.

But, to say this is an Amgen vs Onyx thing is simply not true. Unfortunately, it's an industry mindset. It's business, not personal. The sooner you realize that, the better off you will be.

I for one am super excited. Phone interview and face to face demonstrate just how different Clovis will be. I'm out if here and an off to be a part if something really special.

I'm excited as well. I'm hoping that this is worth the risk. FTF coming up soon. Love the the type of culture and environment they are trying to create.

Just curious, what is so wrong with our culture at Genentech?

To be fair I do not work for Genetech. I'm sure it's a great place to be although I work in a system now where we are divided by tumor type and it's a bit much working with that many partners especially if you don't get along. I found this post looking to see if anyone was talking about the Clovis opportunity. But the couple of people I know that work at Genetech have nothing but great things to say.

There is no "try" there is do or do not. When it's all said and done it will be very similar to Onyx, Seattle Genetics, and Dendreon. Great at first, and then ...., not so much.

somempeoole really are uninformed.

You really think the very best leaders of Genentech just left for options and will soon go work for someone else? No way. These guys are legit. And they are building an incredible team.

Are we next? Are we ever going to get a PD-L1 product? We are so behind the competition. Our indication for bladder is being done by our competitor for free under compassionate use until they get the approval. By the time we get there, the market will be gone.
