Re: Clovis Recruiter?

Is Clovis using a recruiter or doing the search for candidates themselves?

They have hired the VP and Dos, next phase underway for managers, followed by sales rep. All you read is extremely positive and reviews of senior management make Clovis look like an exciting risk!! Building from ground up with solid products and amazing pipeline. Worth investigation
They are doing internal recruiting although they state a limited amount of contracted recruiters being used
Hope it helps

havent heard much but keeping ear to ground. Solid hires so far at top.

Is this going to be a Genentech show? When will these startups learn that too many Genentech salespeople including those in the Tarceva space have been on cruise control for years and don't know what it takes to battle and sell in a competitive environment? Some of the laziest reps I know in my area are the Genentech crew. Big name but if you want people who know what it takes to pound the pavement and launch a new product in a competitive space, look elsewhere.

They are hiring.

If you are at Genentech and have received notice for an interview at Clovis, there are things you should avoid bringing to the the interview:

1-Stolen loyalty discount sheets from Amgen that helped you get your job at Genentech. We want to avoid any risk hiring someone that could have their photo on view at the post office.

2-do not bring your information on how many fake calls you placed on physicians that have died or no longer practice due to health reasons and the associated meal changes provided under the sunshine act.

3-do not bring your documents showing how you submitted display fees for gift cards.there are concerns with state gift laws and the potential legal action.

4-do not bring the compliance guru or the outside legal counsel that helped sweep some of the above activity under the rug. Our organization in no way wants to resemble this activity going on St Genentech.

5-do not bring the manager from St. Louis with you to the interview, the dude that approved the display fee for gift cards, showed up to work for 3 Hours in 11 months period with one of his reps and had a copy of the stolen document from Amgen in his possession. We expect people to go to work and be above the board.

That for your help addressing these requests.

Wow this guy is a real douche bag..give it a break.... We wake up every morning to take Compliance test.

Now, now, do not get upset.

Anyway, could you give everyone a compliance update on the rep from Minheapolis that would fly to Cedar Rapids, Iowa and put in the fake call on the doctor that had moved a year earlier to the state of Maine. You know, the rep, that was using a display fee to help underwrite 100 Dollar per plate meals in Des Moines with one thing missing, a display!! Could you provide an update from the compliance guru that kept individuals like this employed.

This activity seems to be a continual theme at Genentech. Cancer patients experiencing financial toxicity to the point of bankruptcy to pay a rep over 200k a year to put in fraudulent calls and display fees for 100!dollar per plate meals. Cancer patients underwriting frequent flyer miles and hotel points to put in fake calls. Nice scam

Is fraud on your compliance exams?

OMG!! Is this place a fraud fest or what? Cancer patients paying for this activity. All of this activity available with recoverable documents that could be used in a court of law. This is beyond sick. I would like to meet the compliance guru who works to keep these people employed. Maybe he could speak to a group of Cancer patients that have filed bankruptcy while on Genentech drugs and telll why they should be filing bankruptcy to underwrite salaries and benefits of over 200k for this activity. Underwriting hotel stays/points and flights/frequent flyer miles for fake calls. 100 per plate meals that a rep submitted, manager approved and internal compliance cut the check. Failure at all three points. What a system.

6-Could you keep the RM from Denver away as well. The one that covered up for the DM that showed up to work for 3 hours in 11months. She stated that she would support the manager, even if he did not show up to work at all. We simply can not charge patients to pay for a manger to rarely show up to work and for a RM that would cover up such behavior. We do not believe in trying to take every last cent from a Cancer Patient as they are fighting Cancer.

Thank you for addressing this during the interview process.

To Think, Tamara from HR knew about a lot of the activity. Does she still have a job?
