Well it's looks like Chip Kelly is headed to the Eagles after all. Wow! Looks like those NCAA sanctions are more serious than those Duck fans think they are.

This is just like when Pete Carroll left USC for Seattle. Well at least the NCAA will not have to vacate any National Championship's and the Heisman Trust will not have to reclaim the trophy from Oregon.

So Bronco, I guess I was full of shit the whole time? That Duck fan friend of yours is an idiot. Oregon is currently trying to make a deal with the committee on infractions with NCAA. This means they are guilty of some violations and are trying to beg the NCAA not to make the sanctions so bad.

Oregon probably will not get hit to hard by the NCAA but coaching changes are never a good thing at first. There will be some assistant coaches leave and turnover. National Signing Day is Feb. 3rd so this could not have happened at a worse time for the Ducks.

Didn't Coach Kelly just say he was not leaving the Ducks??

You dumb asses and your assumptions make me ROFLMAO.

Chip got an offer from a team that he couldn't turn down. He took the money and ran. Will I think he will be successful in the NFL? No. He's not a pro coach. He's a college coach. Plus, he has no pro experience. He'll fail going straight to the top. Sorry. It's the truth.

There will be no serious sanctions against the Duck. I know you're hoping that because next year the Ducks would knock the Tide right off the NCAA F-ball map.

The new head coach at Oregon will be Chip's underling who knows the team and players. He has a gold mine coming back and they will win the national championship hands-down.

But go ahead and back bite all you want. It will get you nowhere and only make you look like an ass at the end of the day.

BroncoBoy, let me get this right. In one of your other posts concerning the Manti Teo debacle you said how most Americans are stupid and gullible. Well don't you think there is something more to this story than we know about Chip Kelly?

The Eagles offered him the job about a week ago and he turned them down to stay at Oregon. Now Kelly accepts the job this week? So what do you think happened? You are the one with the sensitive bullshit detector...

Yeah Philly is a great job but we have seen it time and again where a successful College Coach does not make it in the pros. Very few have been able to do it. I definitely think something happened during this past week.

I think Chip Kelly jumped off a sinking ship when he had the chance. The next Oregon Coach will have a good team but will not be nearly as successful as Coach Kelly. It was Coach Kelly's system and those recruits are also going to jump ship. Recruits hate it when there are coaching changes no matter how much Nike swag they get...

I think the ole boy was "playing the game." BAMA will finish in the Top 10 next year. I am not saying BAMA "Three-peats," but you never know...

As usual you're jumping to conclusions and making huge stretches in your comments, Bamaboy. On your next trip to the doc I would recommend getting your estrogen levels checked. They might be out of whack.

When you apply for a job and you got a little swagger you play hard to get. Philly wanted Chip real, real bad. Chip knew it. So Chip played hard to get. And it worked. I bet in that last week the salary figure went up significantly. You don't have Chip's swagger so you don't know how the game is played, Bama. If you did, you would. IMO Chip held out for more bucks and probably got it.

I already told you that IMO Chip won't make it in the NFL and will eventually return to college ball. Youg get no argument from me there. He's not a pro coach. But he wanted to spead his wings and fly and make some nice coin in the process. He knows that he can return to college ball at any time. And it's a pretty nice opportunity for a college coach to get hired as Philly's head coach to replace the one and only Andy Reid. Quite an honor. Wouldn't you jump at the chance?

The underling coach at Oregon will take over without skipping a beat. There was nothing particularly magic about Chip that another coach couldn't mimic. The system is in place. Chip can't take that with him. It's in Oregon to stay.

You are catastrophizing about the sanctions. It's wishful thinking on your part, because you know that next year Oregon would eat the Tide for lunch. If it were something serious we would have heard about it by this time.

No recruits will leave. Oregon is the same bad ass team with or without Chip. Nearly all the star players are returning. If they feared problems at Oregon they would already be jumping ship. Have you seen any leave? I sure haven't.

So stop with your hand-wringing, BamaBoy. Chill out. I'd recommend avoiding soy products. It's high in estrogen content.

Excellent points Bamaboy. I think your absolutely right (that and bronco is always wrong).

Sometimes desperate medical sales people lose their swagger in job inteviews when they lose their biggest customer or top customers. I know you don't understand that analogy since you are a pharma rep and really don't "sell" anything...:)

I definitely think something happened between a week or two ago when Chip turned down Philly. I will keep a close watch on Oregon's program to see how their recruiting ranking will slip with Coach Kelly leaving.

I do agree with you on one thing. Chip Kelly can come back to College Football whenever he wants to. Getting NFL coaching experience and contacts will help him if he wants to come back to College Football. Nick Saban has been very successful in CFB because of his NFL experience. Chip Kelly aint no Nick Saban though..

Keep as close an eye as you want. You are just talking out your butthole with zero credibility about Chip leaving under a dark cloud. Total bullshit. Better for you to keep that shit to yourself because you're only going to make yourself look like dogshit on these boards when the Oregon Ducks get a clean bill of health and NOTHING significant happens to their ball team due to the recruiting allegations.

Nick Saban ain't God. His shit stinks too. Chip Kelly is every bit as good as he is. And that will be proven by history as we move forward.

..says the guy with the small package.

I see the Oregon Offensive Coordinator got promoted to head coach to replace Chip. He seem to be the best choice. Oh, and all the recruits who gave a verbal committment to Oregon are still on track. None of them have bolted. And if they haven't by now they won't. Signing day is Feb 6. I see that Urban Meyer is trying to steal some recruits who committed to Oregon. HAH. What a total fuckhead. What goes around comes around. And no rumors about any serious sanctions against Oregon. If that were true it would have happened by now. So Bamaboy and the rest were spreading false rumors and had no clue about what the fuck they were talking about (as usual). So it looks like Oregon goes all the way in 2013! GO DUCKS!

Actually it's looking like Alabama 3peats.

Just because Oregon recruits a top 10 class does not mean they will win the National Championship this year. Just look at Auburn. They have recruited Top 10 classes the past few years and have been a total bust other than 2010 with Cam Newton.

Top 10 classes don't hurt a team but what a team needs is a strong head coach to develop those players. This new Oregon Coach is not Chip Kelly and he sure as hell ain't no Nick Saban.

My pre-season pick for top teams in for 2013 are: Ohio State, Florida, Louisville, Texas A&M, Stanford, FSU and Alabama. Oregon will be good but not Top 5.

You don't know jack-shit about Oregon's new head coach. You are just spouting off again as usual.

If he wasn't a popular coach with the players and excellent at what he does Oregon would never have promoted him, genius.

Use your head.

uh they promoted him because no one else would go there, They can only hope the NCAA's fluster cuck in Miami shakes up the NCAA so much Oregon is able to get away with just a wrist slap.

No one else would go there? Are you dropping acid? People would sell their own mothers for shot at that job. Look at the talent on that team. The sports reporters already have them down for the #1 pre-season pick. As usual, you're a day late and a dollar short. If your judgment is still as clouded when March Madness rolls around better for you to sit on the sidelines and watch. :D

I turned the job down.

Now lookie here young bronco, don't you know the wacky tabcy White Trash partakes in while it does cloud his judgment, we can't discriminate against him because of it, he should have just listened to Nancy RayGun and said no, but not our boy trash, no one is going to tell him what to do so now his head is mush and that gray stuf in it is not much better and the rest of us fine outstanding mericans have to support his lazy arse self. Don't be surprized if he comes in demanding special treatment for march madness. Of course if his head is so jacked up he does not know the Ducks is the primo coaching job in college sports, no amount of special treatment can help him. I am just glad he is now stuck with Muff Muff and I am a free man. Sherrif due do brown out.

Texas A&M will more than likely be pre-season #1. They got a lot of players coming back and a much improved defense. They will be #1 until someone lays Johnny Football out.
