Again, speak for yourself. A lot of us had already passed Seroquel XR well before they went generic, and Abilify had a beast share mostly due to its MDD, not its use. It going generic had very little effect. It was Latuda's indications and good data that did, neither of which IC's product will have at any point in its 5 year lifecycle. I wonder how many of the reps they hired know that it's due to go generic in 2025... My guess is they failed to share that little tidbit.

Wouldn’t the big boy a typical’s going generic make them less expensive and more available? Seems so. Bipolar indication is what did it for Latuda if we are, in fact, stating fact.

what company launching any new product does not have confidence as you put it? Rest assured, just as nobody outside of IC has confidence in this new atypical, it was the same exact situation when Laturda was launched.
 






Latuda had positive studies, which is why it was believed we would get the BPD indication. IC's product, so far, was positive on one monotherapy study (barely), and failed the other. The only one they have left is an adjunctive study, which is something nobody has been able to accomplish other than Latuda (Seroquel tried and failed as well). Given their track record with the monotherapy studies, the smart money is very much against their adjunctive study being a positive one.
