They should have just given us pagers and have us go to pay phone to make calls once paged. Whats next...seiko watches for prez club winners? Mylan rocks!
 






Let's lighten up about this. They gave us phones. It doesn't mean you have to use them. Continue to use your previous phone if you wish. There is no obligation or prevention on you to continue to use your own phone at your expense.

It sounds like a nice thing to bitch about. However if the fear is out there that this is a tracking device, leave it at home and continue to make calls your previous phone. Or take the new phone with you and turn it off if you're worried about being tracked at whatever location you're at when you're supposed to be working.

This whole thread is plain silly babble about an idea that is easily preventable.

If phone is powered on we can see your location if need be. its the reason for all new phones, not for cost cutting reasons although buying bulk does provide discounted rates. fyi

Really? Really? Have you seen your phone? The phone is so antiquated, it does not have GPS capability. In fact its capabilities are pretty much limited to talking, listening and texting(old school) style. As for the laptop, just turn off the server when you go to work.
Bottom line, dont be so paranoid, just go to work and do your job.
Selling the crap in our bag is tough, but just build 20 solid relationships, get them to write one rx of perf a week, get in good with your lincare or apria rep and the rest is gravy.

No, it's about the crazy idea of the company giving us stupid phones and not paying to us to use our previous ones, that's what it's about. The new phone is an old model that I would prefer not to use, maybe 10 years ago...... The tracking or not tracking is not what bothers me (although it is unethical). The company should have left it alone.

If they are tracking you there is a reason why. Its the same thing if they are looking at call history. Calling Dr.'s offices to check on relationships and when dr.'s work. If its at this stage of the game. It doesn't matter. Your Fired....

Wow, I have a great job. I call Dr's offices to babysit sales reps. Man my life sucks. Who would ever want to be a DM. I kiss the ass of people above me and act as though I have a career!
