On Concur training call this am, they said cell phones are no longer T&E reimbursable. Anyone know what NVS is doing with this?

You would have a cell phone with or without Novartis...why should Novartis have to pay for it? Same with internet. Rep's are some of the cheapest and laziest people in the world

Cheap bas-tards are trying to trim expenses as usual. Just look at crap car selection Novartis has vs other pharma companies.
Unlikely the telecommunication reimbursement will come back.
I don't like it either, but we have two options. 1) Acccept it. 2) Or find employment elsewhere that reimburses for cell ph.

I guess I can’t call offices to connect with my docs.. or see if they need samples, confirm lunches, get on town hall conference calls, or respond to the 20 plus texts and calls from district team members every single day etc

We work for one of the largest BIG pharma companies in the world. Their pocketbooks are deep. A phone is a necessity to my job. Period. I did not take part in Oswald Billowatta or whatever his name was.. CIA crap and shouldn’t have to pay my cell phone bill. It rings non stop during the work day. I already don’t have a laptop to do admin. What’s next? Walk to my accounts!

Cell phone DEVICES are no longer expendable through T&E after Oct. The monthly bill will be expendable still. There was a communication sent out about it today

Home office people are so damn jealous. Just because they are sequestered 9-10 hours a day in non-stop meetings while reps eat, chat and laugh with offices does not mean they should be bitter.
