Casey Anthony trial coming up..

I would still love my child, but would turn her in in a New York minute. I forget the exact phrase but I think it goes something like "Love the sinner, hate the sin".

Excellent points and a great clarifying question, FT.

If the evidence supports a premeditated murder by Casey Anthony, the jury should find her guilty of first degree murder and she should receive a death sentence or in the very least..life without possibility of parole...ever. If the evidence supports the parents participated in a cover-up, the charge of accessory to murder after the fact should be brought against both of them immediately. This whole case..defendant and her parents, questionable evidence, police and media involvement..all of it seems to be a clusterfuck of major proportions..very cloudy. I feel sorry for the judge who has to weed through all the bullshit and drama. If I he, I'd throw the book at that whole crazy family. I just hope that no one involved with the murder of this child profits from her death. I'm probably dreaming here..
 












That is quite an impressive jury -- especially the retired FBI agent. He'll be able to cut thru the bullshit in deliberations. Also the one in law enforcement.

I don't for a second think the grandparents did it ==== but they certainly acted hinky about everything. They should be charged with accessory after the fact.

Wish I could take time off work to watch this trial. Good thing it's live on satellite radio, but damn, this work is cutting into opening statements!

I think it's pretty sad she would let her lawyer make false accusations about her dad and brother. She needs to own up and be forced into doing prison porn.

I agree Wonka. Prison porn is the last barrier to be broken, especially after the "Crack-Whore" Confessions series. Casey and Susan Smith, both being DP'd by Mr. Marcus, and Mandingo.
 






I never understand this kind of defense. Sure, if she was abused as a child you can understand the why of what she did but it doesn't change the fact it is wrong or that she is guilty. It certainly doesn't rise to the level of mental instability that Loughner displays. Now if she had killed one of the men she is accusing it might be a more viable defense.
 






This trial is ca-raze-zeeeee. It's pissing me off that Sirius/XM doesn't have a channel carrying it live, since CourtTV turned into TruTV, it's not on satellite anymore. I have to listen to the trial on HLN - and put up with the commercials and tons of coverage of Oprah's last show.

I couldn't give 2 shits about Oprah.

And I bet Casey would be a willing participant in prison porn.
