Careful who you work “with”

This! Spot on!

The entire world has changed dramatically just in the last 5 years, this business has outpaced even that. There is less than 10% of these AGMs that know how to actually survive in an office setting. They are career suck ups who are milking a paycheck. They may speak well and even know the business to a degree, but let’s not kid ourselves, they wouldn't last a week in the field and would consistently rank at the bottom.
and to make matters worse marketing is so out of touch. They have absolutely no understanding of what works with doctors or what doesn’t. We have marketing trying to push their team into field positions (unsuccessfully ‘at I add) to try tk be in touch but that is useless. Stop trying to push us to what you think works without any understanding of what it is that works and what HCPs want. So disappointing

That will never change however marketing is losing its power. Nicole is being dethroned. Hahaha

how you treat your colleagues matters no matter what division or department. When you treat colleagues who were below you like your possession and refer to the team as your team, take a step back and acknowledge that you would not be as successful if it were not for those minions below you making you look good. Being pompous is not becoming nor something that your colleagues will forget or be motivated by. It’s very telling when I reflect back how certain colleagues choose to act toward me. Maybe it’s their level of insecurity coming through but unfortunately those same leaders who have been knocked down a few pedestals seem to take time to try to discredit their former colleagues for things that are simply not true. Some day this crap will catch up to them when their leadership team removes those rose colored glasses and sees them for who they really are. This industry is way too small and Bayer is not doing well so the writing in is on the wall. Just sending a PSA to all those colleagues who think those choices they are making are helping them sleep at nights. Shit rolls down hill.

There is no self development without self awareness. You can read as many books as you like but if you are h able to read yourself , you’ll never learn a thing.. I think you’re referring to those types of leaders are there are many of those at Bayer
