Thanks! I will. Why do you think that is?

It could be either a manager problem, or perhaps the director. What I question is whether they are concerned about it or not? The answers I've gotten are they are a performance based company and if you can't hack it, then leave. So, as long as the stock keeps climbing then they don't care what problems could be in the field...? It is a good strong company, no doubt. But something is wrong when so many people leave in a short amount of time. Good luck.

PERFORMANCE COMPANY!!!!????

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

In ihd you will need to understand the science of butt kissing and backstabbing to succeed!

and that you will not cover in training ...

go if you must, butt be prepared! (pun intended)

Totally true unfortunately. It is not Gilead the company it is the division and specifically the carry overs from CVT. They think everyone should bow down to them during the interview process. They all ask the same questions after they tell u how great they are and the product it is a life changer. This division is one step from primary care and is minimal til the Gilead bottom line. Love the loyalty to the product but get a grip.

loyalty to the product?
never heard of such a thing. they believe they own it still!

those cvt'ers are a bunch of oddities that have a weird sense of exclusion to anyone outside their little club and that's why so many get canned or leave. it is very, very strange...

I spent about 2 hrs with a couple during a interview and almost walked out. I did the same thing they do now when I managed the piggly wiggly in college. They, ah never mind not even worth writing about them chumps.

One step? We are primary care, with samples, forms, reports on everything. Managment is screwing this all up.

... one step BELOW primary care ...

all mgmt upper and lower have only primary care exp - and while at rinky dinky cvt - their egos grew to an immense proportion but their brains didn't so the division suffers.

Gilead is a strong company and if you do well, you will be rewarded. However, the pressure is very high and micromanagement is the norm.

The IHD Division is very much like Primary Care and will be extremely frustrating for an experienced rep who is capable of working and thinking on their own.

Ranexa is a good product, but the growth expectations are unrealistic for a product with one indication. There is a lot of "questionable" promotion around this product. I don't think reps want to talk about off-label use, but with the stretch goals and "perform or get out" attitude, many feel they have no choice. And, the company encourages it with their promotional pieces that include benefit statements around endpoints the product is not indicated for.

If you take the position, you will see short-term rewards. Just know this is a temporary position. People don't last very long.

Senior Management needs to take a hard look at this group and get rid of the crummy dm's and srd's that actually may bring the whole house down!!!

The most realistic and truthful post. I feel this way everyday.

I IVd with a somene. Told me looks at call average every Friday and if you dont meet the number you have to explain why. Expense reports every week. Said if you dont make your numbers youre gone. No increase in base. Manager and local rep said regional was difficult IV, ex Pfizer. I thought probably a dick. They seemed to think I should be thankful to work for them. Thank goodness I turned down second. Even the outside recruiter was a dick

depends on where you live. Choice of East micromanager SRD, micromanager Midwest SRD, and west. if west, you should be ok. Midwest is miserable. ex phizer primary care. is last in rankings continuously and trying to change everything and make more like Lipitor Primary care. East is just Crazy bitch syndrome manager by SRD. Lots of screaming and PMS.
