Car allowance or fleet vehicle

I have never heard of Wheels having an app like that. My current company doesn’t for our Fleet vehicles. And we don’t have air watch. Do you guys have work phones or just get reimbursed for your person phone? I just don’t put my work email on my phone. I look at my iPad if I need to check it.

FYI, most company issued ipads have airwatch

Ahhh, hope you know they can track
your iPad.

I'm sticking with the allowance too. I love the allowance. Would never want to have a fleet car again.

Thanks for all your personal vs fleet car comments. Curious here, I am currently interviewing for the Aristada expansion and with another pharma company now. Just curious what the current lease car options look like for the territory business manager new hires? Honest feedback is much appreciated. Also, for those of you currently choosing the monthly car allowance option, how much does the company currently reimburse you for the base monthly allowance plus mileage? Thanks

Fleet car options are really quite good and there are a lot of them. I'll try and get most of them down from memory. Volvo SC 60 SUV(4 cylinder turbo), Toyota Highlander, Toyota Prius, some buick model and a chevy/gmc small SUV.

Car allowance varies by how many miles you drive a year. The base amount is around $550 per month and then about 34 cents a mile for business miles. It's a pretty good allowance.

It's a great company to work for. I've been here for a little over 4 years and culture is really good, pretty transparent and they seek input from the field before making big decisions. They even sent out surveys for fleet vs. allowance and then decided to give us both options.

Remember all pharma sales jobs and the happiness you enjoy when working such a job is heavily dependent on your manager. Make sure you interview your potential manager as much as they interview you.

Good luck in your job search. I being a N of 1 can honestly tell you I love working here and I've been in the industry for a pretty long time and have worked at 4 other pharma co's.

What does it cost per pay period to drive them?
