Can Someone Say "National Sales Meeting Cancelled"

Really? Cole wasn't senior VP when alogliptin died? Rudolphi wasn't VP of sales? Who was steering the ship when the Contrave contract was first signed and Contrave died? Face it, our "leaders" have yet to succeed with anything since the merger.

They did succeed in laying off over 1000 people in field sales though. Oh yeah, they also successfully saved their own asses and the jobs of their closest friends.

They are also "asleep at their watch" as Actos is quickly going from tier 2 to tier 3 on some big MC plans starting in April! Another greaat job by our stellar upper management who just can't seem to get ANYTHING right!

Sorry, I meant to say that Tim Rudolphi was VP of Marketing not Sales. Still, not a great showing the last two years.

In case you forgot....Tim R is "Takeda Legacy". He only came to TAP for a short time to help transition the buyout.

He and DOst led the "Award Winning" Rozerem marketing campaign. You remember the drug that has done so well, the latest strategy is "NOT" to promote it at all.

I hope that the actor who played Abe Lincoln is laughing all the way to the bank!

This crew makes the Al Davis run Raiders look like champions. Tim R. must be banging some connected chick from Japan to have lasted this long given his lack of successful accomplishments. Same thing with D. "Sure I am straight" Ostmeyer. Both of these clowns have had their paws on a heck of a lot of failures. Leave the DMs & reps alone. Major changes needed above the DM level.

Had to laugh when I read this. Unbelievable when you think about it. A guy who is in charge of Rozerem where we spent more in advertising than the drug ever grossed is promoted.

Hey let's not forget our Takeda management team gave billions of dollars to Abbott to buy out half of the TAP joint venture and included Lupron. Yup, just gave it to Abbott in the US. That product is still doing over a billion dollars a year and will continue to do so form many more years. We got Uloric and Dexilant. How's that for strategic vision.

I'm amazed our doors are still open here.
You'd have to think Japan will soon see we have little children trying to sit at the grown ups table and make some BIG changes to upper management here. I think it is just a matter of time.

You have a lot more confidence in the Japanese circus clowns running this company than I do. The Japs have made all kinds of stupid moronic decisions, but, all of the sudden, they are going to get smart and make intelligent decisions??!!??

Ya know the Japs did lose WWII pretty completely and they were going to lose whether or not we dropped the bomb on them or not.

I don't now why Americans are so impressed by such a class rigid and conformist society?

Thanks for the organizational chart. None of these people are responsible for Alogliptin , Contrave, or Amitiza challenges. They inherited a mess

Moron...ANd what exactly did you bring to the table from TAP, oh yeah generic Prevacid and another PPI so good it had to be named twice. Seems to me TAP would be out of business if they hadn't merged.

Agreed! But, it was Takeda management that paid over $6 Billion for TAP and gave up the money maker Lupron to Abbott in the US in the process. That being said, who is the savvy business team here. I can't say it was Takeda that way overpaid for TAP and give up a huge money maker (Lupron) in the process. Think about that one Skippy.

No. It was TPC in Japan that made the deal. Then they forced TPNA to absorb what was left of TAP. TPNA did not buy TAP and give away Lupron. If you weren't directly involved in the integration you do not know what you are talking about.

Not true. Much counsel was done with Takeda USA before the trigger was pulled. Don't be a revisionist historian. Moron.
