Bye bye Bard Access!!

Angio D? Really - we are hurting ourselves. the fact we don't have a coating becomes a bigger issue day by day. Arrow has had a coating for 3 years and Angio D for one year. The interest from customers is increasing and we keep throwing out that a complete kit is the solution. That is a joke right?

Angio D does not have a coating, it's a polymer you dumbass, learn your business.

Get over yourself! The new products are a laughing stock and we would have not even considered them Access worthy products 3-4 years ago. When we acquired Statlock they didn't say we would become Statlock-like reps. Powerglide sucks, gaurdiva is a joke, and PICCS continue to drop.

We have become an entry level job and we only have tenured reps because they are too old to move

I worked at Access for 9 years. Gladly to say in the glory days and I made great money. But it was always a entry level medical device job. If you think you are clinical selling piccs and vascular access devices you are kidding yourself.

Agree with previous poster. Nothing wrong with selling PICCS, but it is clearly not a technical job nor does it require a great deal of clinical aptitude. I sold for a competitive company for 4 years before going into CRM and have loved this space for both the additional income and mental stimulation. Good luck in whatever you chose to pursue

Many of us have resorted to food stamps and eating at soup kitchens. I've seen several reps begging on highway off ramps in the last month. We buy grampas suits from thrift shops. $20 in my pocket.........

They have successfully transitioned this job to an official "break in to medical" sales gig. I have watched our @ plan pay shrink and shrink every year for the last few years. Every year there is a new loophole in the comp plan. Work twice as hard; make the same r
Less for Most.

I can't wait to see how many Reps jump after all this obamacare panic settles down

Ok confirmed, it is an entry level medical device job. Now if you have been there for a few years take it to the next level. If you are good you can transition to a more clinically challenging and higher pay scale company.

If you suck which you do, because you consistently bitch about how terrible your life is because you are not making money this is the ceiling for you. If you hate the management then excel at what you do and make a run for a management position and change the culture. But you cant because you finished in the 100's last year and cant sell for shit.

I agree and also disagree. The products in our bag have run their course. Without a huge PICC conversion or 1500+ 3cg upgrade from rad trays you are fighting an uphill battle. The territory opportunity dictates your Income. No doubt about it.

Sell capital and maintain your disposables is the best way to make commissions in a shitty territory. Unless you prefer the rest of the dog products that have you spinning your wheels for 10-50k in growth. Don't forget powerglide, if you want your maintenance check. It is amazing we are creating another market for a product that doesn't deliver the promised results. Solo 2.0?

Hospitals have options now and GPO sole
Source doesn't hold up with a good
Competitive rep.

StatLock is a Basset Hound competing at the GreyHound track. Are you kidding me? The last product update was done the day after Moses parted the Red Sea. Securement devices are evolving...Statlock hasn't and isn't and will be left behind!!

Need some improvements coming so we could sell it. Have not had any modifications with StatLock and 3M and others are knocking on the door. Fortunately they are costly and contracts keep us in the game, but for how long??? That clip device that everyone and their peeps are talking about is starting to show up a lot and it works well. Wake up product managers..HELP US HELP YOU KEEP BOTH OUR JOBS!!
