Bush league

This company is Bush League. From the Skype interview all the way through panel interviews. Senior field leadership has zero epilepsy experience. HR negotiating salaries during the panel interview bc they have a tight time line to work against. And don't even get me started on Princeton One. Sad, patients deserve better.

Sorry you weren’t good enough to make the cut.

Personally, I like that they are doing something different and fresh. The interview process was fast, but I was treated very well along the way. P1 is not great, but everything else has been nice. Hoping I get an offer to join such a historic launch.

I will agree with you on Princeton One. They're the worst. So many companies use them now and every time they're involved I cringe. They string you along all the while letting you think you're still in the running when in reality the hiring manager picked his two finalists a week ago. They'll tell you, "oh yea, you're still in the running and as soon as we have an update we'll let you know". LOL,Yea, right. If you ever hear from them it's like 6 weeks later telling you that unfortunately the manager went with someone else (no shit), meanwhile you've moved on so far down the river that you actually forgot about the job. I'd at least have more respect for them if they would be more timely and honest, unfortunately that would entail having respect for people. They truly suck. There are good recruiters out there who really do treat you with respect, but unfortunately they're a minority. If you spend enough time on LinkedIn you can find multiple posts from recruiters themselves who lament the sad state of their profession.

Aaaaamen to that!! If more companies would read CP they would see the overall consensus across multiple people and numerous companies. Sure, maybe they are getting good candidates but their process is terrible and leaves people with a bad taste in their mouth. Whether you want to believe it or not, the recruiters are a “part of the process” and become a reflection of the hiring company. I would want my recruiting company to reflect the same values as my company and that would start with transparency and respect. Leaving people hanging when it’s clear decisions have been made is ridiculous and disrespectful.

And I’m curious how effective a “Talent Assessment Specialist” can be when they are a recent college grad and haven’t worked a day in the industry. It says to me that they are only scanning resumes and looking for key words and minimum specifics. I don’t think they have enough experience to be able to see the whole picture or breadth of experience that, as a leader, You can’t expect to get quality and out of the box thinking from a cookie cutter, robotic company...sorry!

Aaaaamen right back at you! Very well stated and true.

can you all stop with the sour grapes, oh whoa is me, P1 sucks, I was qualified. Yes, you and many others. Grew up and move on.
Really? I don't see the above few posts that talk about P1 and recruiters in general as "woe (correct spelling, dummy) is me" or complaining about not being picked. Whoa is me, LOL, what a dope!

this company is the same as all the rest, if you know the right people you are in. i am in Midwest and most candidates advancing to panel interviews had UCB connections. I had sold 3 AED's and launched 2 of them but did not get a phone screen.that's the way it is today, best to just move on and remember a lot of times the best candidate does not get the position. they will price it so high it will impact its use.

Thanks for the insight! However, a little late as we've been moving for two weeks now. Very few people from UCB here. It's great that you have inside information on the pricing though! With that kind of inside connection, how did you not even get an interview??

There’s no need to worry about UCB people at this company because there’s plenty of unqualified reps from Kate Farms (WTF is that?!) I was shocked how how many inexperienced reps got jobs mainly in the east which is no surprise given the directors lack of experience. Seems a lot of people got the hook up.

Exactly!! There was even relocation involved. MANY very qualified reps did not get the job because it was more of "Who you know" (wink wink) than "What you know"!
