HI Botox Reps and Sales managers and MSLs! I’m one of the “other” Toxin Reps. Remember how you guys have been stuck-up for years, thinking you all were better than us, walking around all snooty, had doctors in your pocket, laughing at us? Now AbbVie is buying ya, and expect BIG layoffs!

Ha ha. If you actually worked for the best company in aesthetics and actually read what WSJ states, you would know that synergies are in redundant business sectors. To help you understand because intelligence is a challenge for you, redundant business sectors are divisions of companies where duplicate roles occur. For example. primary care pharmaceuticals, neurology pharmaceuticals, immunology pharmaceuticals. Get it? There are no synergies in medical aesthetics because the cash based business is unique. If you were on todays conference call, you would also know that Allergan Medical Aesthetics has no change except a commitment to more R&D

So, go back to your stalking and political posts. We actually have pride in ourselves over here.

But to whoever was showboating, it shows a lot more about you than it does the Botox reps.
 




I think it’s fair to assume that the Botox franchise will have more strain put on it to compensate for the future $$ loss/patent cliff facing Humira, etc. More than enough of us have see this at previous companies. This is our industry! It could take years for the acquiring company to really change everything or it could be much sooner depending on the terms of the deal. Anyone hear anything about a retention bonus? If we don’t get one I’m not sure how protected we will be. Let’s not fool ourselves that we are irreplaceable. Humira is a complicated biologic to sell and those reps could easily learn Botox. And after all the realignments and management pressure to neglect our account needs, our customer relationships don’t mean much anymore.

Why are you folks focusing on Aesthetics, are you that arrogant? Botox has a therapeutic division too. AbbVie has a strong neuroscience force. They don’t need that many Neuro Reps. Logical action? Layoffs. It’s just math.
 




Evolus reps pay more in taxes than Botox make each quarter. The security blanket you hide under will cost you a fortune over a career.
Any huge payouts as a result of the sale? Oh that’s right, your options are worthless.
 








Key units will remain untouched look at abbvies presentation....vraylar will have huge amount of people and money similar to abbvies previous forays synthroid niaspan etc they will synergize at year 3 when humira loses it's patent in US read the presentation...vraylar Botox, is where you'll see possibly more resources ...look under other key areas basically an after thought read the presentation... understand how they operate...flood every office with the growth products cut , drastically, those "other" areas ...GI overlap exist , Duopa can't be considered as a Neuro franchise is so limited ...Vraylar , Botox top two drugs they will pump tons of money into and slash the others
