boy did I make a mistake

Another of the very few veteran reps left here on the west coast, you are right on with the Sherman Tank's wake of destruction. We survived the million dollar loss out here while he either ran you in the ground or ran you off.

Since I am not white but asian and work hospital arena I feel very fortunate to be out of the line of fire of the PODS ISSUE thats been brewing with the FDA...but please tell me more on the FBI, that is a new twist on DSI scandal, do tell!

FBI is the criminal investigative arm for the FDA in this case. it's partially about PODS and Speaker programs, but mostly about selling off label with Ben and WelChol. Details to come in the form of layoffs and $$$$$$ payouts to the Gov.

It is generous to say DSI is "mid-level" pharma. It is so unorganized and after working for some of the best companies in the business I am embarrassed to have this company on my resume. I stayed 2 years too many. The meds are sub-par, they do not know how to launch, put idiots in manager and higher positions. They eally do not understand the cardiovascular world if they think Welchol (hello?!) is going to be prescribed with Lipitor 10 instead of writing 1 prescription for high dose statins. It is a JOKE!
I am happily out of pharma now but still in healthcare. My advice if you are still working for this pathetic company - GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN! And before people who have come from better companies get laid off and are competing for the same jobs.

just amazed at the lack of professionalism. Managers honestly are so unpolished and down right ignorant. My FCRs are so poorly written I don't know how I'm going to pull them out on my next interview. I have never experienced more wasted time on filed visits. DMs say inappropriate things and should really be selling cars not representing pharmaceutical products.
yikes.

To all: agree with last few posts above. I interviewed at DSI recently and was shocked at the caliber of managers that were interviewing me. Totally lacking in intelligence and professionalism. Foolish questions and they appeared lazy and slow. It was for an in-house position.

I left and knew that this was not the place to work. I hobestly feel bad for the BOD and CEO who will never realize the mediocrity of the people they employ.
