If only it were true....you morons don't have enough programmers and employees to support pt's who have these implanted. Supply is not a problem, it's an excuse. Not a single implant has occured in my huge territory since the first 2 and that was 3 months ago. Physicians hate these devices as well as the poor pt's. Both pt's continue to complain about their recovery time and not being able to slip on their side. They are miserable!!! Wait until they receive their first inapproriate shock!
Yes, there are a limited number of programmers available. That is why the S-ICD is being rolled out slowly to key accounts. So these key accounts have the programmers. And these key accounts are implanting devices faster than BSC can make them. More programmers and more devices on the way. Like I said, good problems to have.
