I've been through 3 buyouts with Quest - two on the buying side and one on the being bought side. It's always called a cooperative merger, value sharing, leveraging each others strengths, win-win, blah, blah, blah...

While you're out there sharing the passion for the new vision telling your customers and prospects that nothing is going to change - just remember - it's your integrity on the line, not the integrity of the so-and-so manager who is feeding you the line of b.s. but will never be face-to-face with the client. So go spread your merriment, and reap what you sow.
 






there are the reps who still carry a bunch of 1099's under them. Those will go away, and it will be hold onto your business to collect your options.

At least for the old timers.

True. I've been through this too. You will be the messenger of what you will be told to say. You have NO IDEA what is going on far above your head. It IS your integrity on the line.

OPKO doesn't really have a salesforce though, which makes the scenario a bit more interesting. I think management is scared-probably because they are typically the first to go.
 












High end reps from Quest and LCA make $200 Tops....that's not on a year to year basis.......very good reps at Quest and LCA make $150 year after year.......they are few and far between.....do you think the new owners don't know that? Will they pay different? Bio reps had a great gig. It might be offer

Sadly, JS is the type who will make it through this transition and come out even higher. If I was GR, I would watch my back. JS will throw him under the bus and drive right over him.
 






Bro you know G 'Vaj' R would be right next to him cheek to cheek. Carve that out in stone. JS told me he has made all the important decisions for Women's Health. GVR pretends they were his own ideas and takes all the credit. Said Chuck had no idea.

Neither one of them is destined for MENSA but JS has never had an "original" idea that he didn't steal from someone else. And that he would say that about the important decisions, proves my point.

Just saying that there will only be so many layers of management and someone will have to go. JS is the type to screw over anyone in his way to get the job. If he is already talking smack then he is already playing that out.
 
























Gary's inability to properly grow the WH business has now negatively affected each of us across every division. What is he always so scared of? What better time than NOW for a change in WH leadership? Credit it to the Merger.

Be careful what you wish for. If GR is out, JS will be the heir apparent. And that will be even worse. You have not experienced hell until you have worked under his "direct leadership".
