Bonuses

^deaf. Figured I should correct that before someone who doesn't understand how auto correct works completely shreds the post and misses the point. And btw-I am a field rep too. I just understand and manage realistic expectations because I actually use my brain and think for myself. Has this leadership under delivered on promises, yes! But this to me isn't one of them and I think we have bigger issues right now with this leadership than if we get our quarterly pay outs in Jan or Feb. To me you are all missing the point.

I think you are mistaken. I don't believe Q4 commissions were promised for January! Year end bonuses and maybe pay raises I give you. However, I too was part of the calls and emails and NEVER got the impression that Q4 commissions were to be paid in Jan. It just wouldn't be feasible. Do you people not use your brains? How can they possibly pay a bonus on numbers that hadn't been finalized in time. People stop being a blind dead and dumb follower and use your brains for once and actually learn how business works!

you are an idiot. We received bonus reports Jan. 26th. So yes it was already CALCULATED. The amount could have easily been sent to payroll (the deadline is Wednesday before payday) and paid out as promised. So enough with the it's not feasible talk. It is very feasible and done at MANY other companies. There is no reason to wait 30 -60 days after the bonus reports to payout bonus. Why don't you use your brain?

I've been in sales for 15 years and have never worked for a company where quarterly commissions were paid 3-4 weeks after the end of the quarter. I guess I just don't see what the big deal is when there are much greater issues. You'll get your money. But hey-maybe you don't know how to manage your bank account and live paycheck to paycheck. That's not my problem.

3-4 weeks at the end...no but 6 weeks at the end. Absolutely. The point has nothing to do with managing bank accounts and as everything to do with them delivering what they promise. Maybe someone banked on them doing what they said and planned a trip or something with the money? Who knows. Maybe they want to leave the company and are waiting for payout before they leave? Whatever it is, doesn't matter. Stop trying to distract from the fact that they once again did not deliver what was promised.
