I did not post that comment above, but no one appreciates an a$$ kisser. It's so dang frustrating to be a part of a company where people are promoted at the expense of someone more qualified just because they are friends. I've seen this done many times at this company and I'm hoping this is the last of it. Soon you people can't hide in your good ol boys club. Big Pharma will eat you alive and spit your sorry a$$ back out for the other wolves to feed on.
 








At least JT was decent enough to let the east zone know their situation before the weekend so that they could get a jump-start on preparation. Who wants to bet on which ass kissers will be saved for CFAM positions??? Make NO mistake, it will absolutely be ass kissers that fill these positions, reps and managers alike.

Mind you this is opinion and not factual, but this is how it works in the industry. March 31st. Fiscal for Forest starts on April 1st. Some reps will be retained proactively by Forest and others will have to fend for themselves with the help of our managers and Zone Managers. If you are not contacted directly by a hire up from Aptalis or Forest, I'd say it might not look so good.

Some reps will be retained proactively by Forest and others will have to fend for themselves with the help of our managers and Zone Managers. If you are not contacted directly by a hire up from Aptalis or Forest, I'd say it might not look so good.

Um....if that's true, I'd find a lawyer........ If everyone is not treated equally that is a huge problem.

I love how people like you think that a company like Forest would make such a simplistic mistake when it comes to layoffs from the purchase or acquisition of another company. Billions of dollars being spent and you think that they aren't going to cover their ass. Keep dreaming and think about and retread your post before you hit "submit."

And who said it was from Forest you douche.....read post 24, and I personally know people that were contacted (and who said call, idiot) by Aptalis for a position.....so no one said anything about who's not covering their ass. So I suggest you go do something worthwhile like clean your tile grout you effin' fat ass loser.

Forest was an example. Since this is an Aptalis board, I figured that that would be the only example to use because it is applicable to Forest purchasing Aptalis. And you don't know anyone who was contacted so stop with the bs. But I do know one thing. You better get your Linzess on and update your resume because you obviously were not one of the chosen. And nice insult. Fat ass loser...that's classic. Try and get to a psychologist before your medical benefits cease. Sucka!

No, the managers and zone directors managed most of this process on deciding who moves along and who does not. Heard directly from management. They had a say so in who gets moved forward. If any were called directly from Forest without ANY insight from Aptalis, they are definitely the minority.

Correct. Some people who use random name-calling as a form of speech are too upset to think clearly and logically.
 




Forest has over three vacancies a month in the sales force. No specialty force except in name, decile of the mix bag of doctors and products, title and pay. A culture of making everyone a speaker to buy access and their only claim to fame being Lexapro. They know nothing about GI and their hope is that Canasa will get them access..but too bad it's access with GI's who don't care about IBS of any kind and 140+ targets and 12 calls a day doesn't give anyone the time to make a GI care.

They're probably smart enough to know they don't know GI, but not wise enough to keep the sales force who can do something about it. If they were, they'd move Aptalis reps into GI territories, their people into CNS and Cardiovascular and drop their bottom 20%-40%. This would actually show Actavis that Forest knows what they're doing and maybe even save jobs and face in the long run. But..that doesn't seem to be the case.

Regardless of your situation, prepare as if March 31st is your last day as rummor has it that Actavis has already started dropping Forest folks, 500 to start.

See post 34 you moron.....I absolutely know people who were contacted directly as does this poster, so it's not bs and you're delusional if you don't think this was the case. And the reference was that Aptalis managers were contacting reps not Forest.....you must work for Forest because you have that mentality. We will all be watching as the arrogance of Aptalis will be swallowed whole by Forest, and then like every good turn, the idiot cheaters from Forest will be laid off by Actavis. All in due time my pretty......
