I work for a Blues plan. I heard from your Market Access West Director (Steve G) on a few occasions earlier this year, and had to turn him away since we don't think Genoptix' offerings are unique. I'm afraid that message is being repeated across the other Blues as well. Unless you've got patented, unique, medically necessary tests (think Myriad or Genomic Health), you'll get no traction....

Thank God that's not the case! Modern businesses such as 2/3's of Fortune 500 companies. And in our Plan's case, more than 80% of our membership are non-gov, non-union. I get the impression you think Romney's gonna get elected and slash the government and public union jobs; for the sake of the healthcare industry (and the country) I sure hope you're right...

Genoptix sucks and that's why no Blues contract. Over testing is the real Genoptix way. The Blues are smart not to contract with them. Genoptix is done.
