Bloated Teams That Need to Go!

Hey Kevin - if we are ever going to turn a profit as a company, you need to cut cost dramatically by getting rid of the most useless, bloated teams that are sitting around taking a paycheck for literally zero value in return. Here's where to start: Customer Experience!

CX is hands down the most bloated team in this damn place! Seriously, an army of UX Designers in a diagnostics company?? Some software companies don't even have this many designers! And yet they keep hiring and being fake-busy. UX Writing team is laughable. Getting paid 6 figures to copy/paste some words into Grammarly must be the hardest job in the world. Get rid of VJ and her entire army of reports/underlings (ok maybe keep KR - I really like the dude) and outsource design work to agency as needed, then watch us approach profitability. Easier said than done though since her boss (MF) now oversees all of CX and am sure he will want to protect his team at all cost. But a girl can dream, sigh.

No clue what the other Sr. Directors in CX do or what value they've delivered. Seriously. Adherence is still terrible.

What are other bloated teams are there?? Let's call them out for KC since he can't be bothered otherwise. Or if you can spot me on 5505-4th floor, let's go up to 5th floor and make our case to him together. Something's gotta make this awful place profitable so that Wall St. can re-rate this sh!t stock.

Amen Brother or Sister! I will join you! CX is terrible at their jobs!

As long as they keep me, we could reduce sales and account managers 30%, increase our bonus potential payout 40-50%. Would save an incredible amount of money, improve morale, and drive sales. We don’t need more reps we need a better culture/environment.

Some very good insights and recommendations. SD role can easily be cut down to 4 maybe 5. This alone probably saves millions. Give the savings to the reps. This would help stem our insane turnover in the field.

Facilities and Real Estate is a bloated pig pen. You could outsource 50% of what they do and cut 25% of real estate leases to save money and everyone would still have a desk and adequate work space. Instead they keep many lazy employees and keep a facilities director who is a narcissist and nobody respects.

CBRE can do these services for half of what they pay these people…

Another one is health systems & HIT marketing. They are CLUELESS!! Have not delivered any value…. Ever! I honestly wonder what they do… zero value… zero results. They do a lot of talking, but have not supported us in the field whatsoever.

Also, business operations. Don’t even get me started. For a team responsible for the operations of the business, it flat out sucks!

Clinical Lab could use a good trim. Ever increasing managers, execs and support specs that literally do nothing all day. Nothing lean in a business that created a new lean team that does nothing.

Cut regional marketing. 4 people making base salaries in the 200k+ range and they don’t do anything, they don’t help sales and literally what do they do?

Yeah but KC just keeps adding new people to the table. So start by cutting all the people you hired. The bodies you hired in the last year. This place is a sinking ship!!!!

Yes but you would be taking away his go to message to the analyst “we brought on new representatives and our internal data shows each new representative adds xyz sales.” Personally, I think his message is a CG kit but the analysts eat it up. It’s a bit scary how gullible they can be. Look for the wizard behind the curtain.

Problem is, Kevin Conroy won’t go anywhere. All his buddies on the Board.

So you’re telling us the board is in on Kevin’s scam and also only care about padding their own pockets like Kevin? So therefore do not care the company is in a tailspin with the un-and-underqualified losers our leadership teams are infested with? That sounds about right.

Couldn’t have said it better myself.

Not sure about buddies, but they are shareholders. If they get rid of KC, it could signal to the market and cause the stock to go even further down. They have to weigh the pros and cons. But at this rate there is no way they can continue to keep him in the position, if we continue to decline.
