Recent announced profits were the lowest in 15 years, along with more failures in pipeline. With nothing positive in the future, can the end be far away?Just not much profit in selling me-too drugs! My,how far we have fallen.

TPUSA is least profitable division in Takeda. Abbvie is looking to buy a company and they've always wanted to buy us. Maybe now they can get us at a premium.

I would not say Takeda is a "great global company" by any stretch of the imagination.
We are doing fair, sales management is a joke. I don't think any analysts are referring to Takeda as a global leader or an innovative company. We are getting by. Getting by through cutting expenses across every function of the organization. Smart move? Desperate? Some of both?
Takeda is way behind the curve with innovative ideas. If you want to know where Takeda is heading, just look at what other companies are doing and we will copy that model years later

No one has ever referred to upper management as innovative, savy,or intelligent, and never will!Mindless fools!

You're right, but the problem is just about all the pharma companies are not "innovative", either... so, in that sense, Takeda is hardly any different from the pack.

Takeda is merely a microcosm of the pharma industry. All of them are struggling beacuse of the same factors.

Problem is that upper management doesn't know the real world of selling to docs, because they never carried a bag!SOOOO out of touch.Relying on consulting companies, who are also clueless,to steer the ship, the sinking ship! The END is in sight!

Takeda Legacy ruined the company and will continue their legacy of losing by creating a dysfunctional work environment for the Quintiles group.

When the MGT changes at Takeda so will the poor results

And which company do you think the current management team came from? Takeda legacy? Go look at the exec management team, they are all Tappers, so quit blaming Takeda legacy.

Ha ha ha ha HA! Don't think Abbvie will pay a premium for us. Think about how savvy they were when they (as Abbott) "allowed" Takeda to buy out their portion of TAP and merge it with Takeda. They were given close to 6.8 Billion with a "B" in cash from Takeda and kept LUPRON which is still chugging along at close to $1.1 Billion a year in sales in the USA. Talk about overpaying and getting screwed?!?! Paying that much money for all the tap rejects and Prevacid and Dexilant/Kapidex and giving up a product that is going to be making $1 billion a year in the usa for probably forever. What idiots the Japanese must be. I'm sure they are kicking themselves and we are having to pay for their idiotic blunders.

I hate working here but they pay me soooooooooo well that I could never think of leaving.
