Biogen's Alzheimer's drug Aduhelm slowly gaining steam among prescribing neurologists, study finds

The spin master, propaganda continues. Wait until you hear the spin on the pivot position some of us are doing.

I’m not happy I have to do it. If they tie my bonus to this when no one is sending for spinal taps I’ll continue to make no money.

This is an old trick pharmaceutical companies use to give the impression a newly launched drug is blowing it out of the water! They obviously paid off whoever wrote the article to get out good publicity. Fake all the way down the line!

"Never Getting Approved" - gets approved
"Never Getting Covered" - MACs are covering
"Never Getting Prescribed" - article saying Rx is increasing and no change to future track
"Fake News, Someone Got Paid"

God you guys are insufferable.

I guess you are “never getting laid off “ lady - I guess we will see?

We can’t “give” it away. Doctors won’t prescribe it. Patients don’t want it.

Free drug doesn’t work because the money on infusions is made on the drug. We offer no discounts and have a miscellaneous J code. Add in the controversy, and you just gave the IDNs an excuse not to allow it to be infused. We have a patient who we have been trying to find an infusion site to infuse free drug for. It’s brutal. So the doctor isn’t offering it to anyone else until we can do so. We have patients with good coverage at university memory centers who ate instructing their physicians to wait for reimbursement and telling them not to refer outside, If the company offered discounts, it would be an entirely different story. Money makes the world go round.
Lilly’s AD MSLs are already out there talking about the drug and their blood test. You know they are going to offer discounts. They will likely launch with all of the marketing pieces that they need because they know it’s AA and can submit in advance. Chances are that they will have live speaker programs just shortly after we do! I’ll bet money that they have dinner programs before we do. They’re even getting ready to start a H2H vs Adu. They have some deep ass pockets, too,
Give the discounts and get the damn live sprayer shit read at ASAP, because you know that will generate some scripts from speakers. Lilly is going to mop the floor w/ Adu, We are just laying the groundwork for them,

MACs are denying it. What are you smoking? You are going to say this launch was a success? You are out of your mind!!!!!! This has been one of those worst failed launches in US history!
Not even 10 infusions a week and they announce 14k by end of the year??? Lies Lies Lies.

“And based on survey data analysis, Spherix expects the prescriber base for the drug, which was federally approved in July, to grow by almost 50% over the next month.”

I mean, that is technically a correct statement. Going from 12 prescribers to 18 would be a 50% increase nationwide.

However, even that seems a little unrealistic in just one month, if you ask me.

And a whopping 27 the month after that.

Only the best of the best were chosen for this sales force. These are the proven account managers who know how to create a market for a true biological buy and bill product. Thousands of unqualified reps applied for these positions. Many were those classic entitled pharma drone sample droppers and caterers with no innovation or strategic sales abilities. If it’s not on formularies and they don’t have samples, they’re over heads and bitching about how can’t win. Hint, I’m a manager and that’s exactly why I did not hire you idiots.

Sure you're a manager. If you are are, then we feel even more sorry for you. It doesn't matter if you have the greatest employees on the face of the Earth, this launch is a 100% bust. A failure.
