Biogen layoffs

Does anyone know when is the next round of layoffs? I heard it’s supposed to be two more rounds for FFG.

lolz.

application Fit for Growth:

do you posses a vagina ?
Are you a POC?
Do you possess zero experience in the field of which you’re about to be promoted into?
Have you held your current title for 6 months or less?

this is correct. We are tasked with 10% in each region with these metrics. We know we’re engaging in discrimination that’s resulting is a shit company.

Lets be real, imagine if a black manager hired an all black team. People would look at them weird but its no issue for all white teams. So Im glad there are metrics for hiring people that will get looked over. We have it easy, everyone needs a fair chance.

We’re not talking about color or sex. We’re talking about ability and experience. There is no fairness in giving positions to people less qualified and less experienced. Not to mention, this is a company with revenue that’s literally shitting the bed. Do you think this is the type of business environment that calls for less rather than more qualified?

you are missing the bigger picture. Incompetent “leaders” of any gender, color or persuasion love these DEI type metrics. If they can’t figure out how to drive revenue, it’s pretty easy to hire X women, X POC, or X LGBTQ+/- and hit your goal. It’s a simple way for people with nothing to offer to appear as though they are getting something done. No higher up is ever truly held accountable for performance anyway.

You people have far bigger problems to worry about than diversity hires and quotas.

You are going to end up cutting half your employees and either divesting much of your assets or straight up getting acquired.

On top of that, it seems like the leadership allows unethical HR practices, which often means letting go all the reps over a certain age (50 for men and 40 for women) because physical appearance is what drives access and sales.

So yeah some token dude isn’t the problem.

Name ONE. Tell us ONE team at Biogen that is ALL BLACK... It doesn't even need to be Commercial -- Anywhere in the company.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, "Spare Tire" Dixon.
