There will be no trial from what I have heard.
Abbott should give up
abbott will not give up. Ever. And when they win they will sue for legal fees.

They should honestly. It makes them look bad to customers
No, it does not. What looks bad is reps switching companies every three years.
Ok, boomer.
Many reps are ready to jump ship and take customers with them. That’s what looks bad. Abbott is desperate to stop the bleed and it shows.
Filing lawsuits against former employees looks bad.
No, not really.

Outdated thinking. What looks bad is when individuals do not challenge themselves, stay stagnant, and/or are just ok performers not held accountable for mediocrity.
Sarcasm on full display.
Most of us are not pension handcuffed, many of us don't even get pensions. We do this cause we are devoted to the brand, the zone bar, and the belief in the omniscience of our leaders. Our leaders post and we follow the message. Abbott forever baby! Zone bars for life!
Spoken like a pension handcuffed loser. That’s full reality in this day and age. Employees are free agents. If you expect to play for the same team your entire career, you’re mistaken. So many companies are stagnant and don’t change or innovate. Go where your talents are appreciated and paid for.
I can think of a major market where the best three reps have been with the same company for 15 years

All the star performers throughout the industry are jumping ship for the cutting edge technology at BIO. This is the reason the guys in Phila jumped to BIO.True. More often than not, the most innovative companies AND their star performers have only been around for a few years. Smart, successful people don’t hang around for years when companies aren’t producing cutting edge stuff. They move on.

The judge will throw this case out soon.
