big pharma fallout

You are not alone- got my 'plan" today. Manager said that they are under pressure to put low performers on plans and that I am not alone. I tried to explain that my top prescriber has moved and he stated I had to find someone new. Like I can just make a new neuro appear and take over his volume? Crazy. I told him he should go on a plan too. He's worked for me once in the past 5 months. He was silent. After pausing for what seemed like 5 minutes, he said he was sorry but what needs to be done needs to be done. Well, what I need to so is start looking. Bye bye Alexion. We are just numbers here

If you were relying solely on one prescriber, then you need to be on a plan. You should have several prescribers writing for you for reasons such as this. And I’m so sure you told him he needed to go on a plan. You sound full of shit and need to leave.

Great Leadership by your "leader". Change the name to "puppet". Been a leader for years and when I had to put someone on a plan, common response was "I get it". However, I owned it as my failure as well, not just theirs - in other words, need to fix together and not by "riding with you 2 days a week of a month". I have put managers on plans who use this type of language - "what needs to be done needs to be done"? I would call his boss and ask what is up because that person is the one who needs to tell you why....face it, your boss is a puppet.

Obviously you don't work here - or at least in neuro. Yes, I have multiple prescribers but my top doctor wrote 40% of my business. You cannot replace that overnight you douche! Add in a lousy payer landscape (which is not my fault) and yes, that's a recipe for failure and I get that. But is that the sole fault of a good rep??? I don't think so. So why does one person get on the plan then??? And yes, I did tell my manager that both he and I should be on a 'plan' of that's what needs to be done. Why not? Leave me to hang to dry? I've got so much dirt on this franchise that I think my best option is to meet with a whistleblower attorney. Don't worry about me whiny boy- I gonna be aight.
