Where the hell are they? This company hammers me on a daily and weekly basis for converting IVF's and getting syringes yet they won't share with us the numbers on a WEEKLY basis.
Our managers and RSDs are hammering us for sales, conversions, repeats, are you kidding me. It may not be as heavy handed as Chris was, but the pressure is still there, it is just being applied top down. And give me a break, PP can't get the benefit verifications done in a timely manner? The excuse, you are sending in too many requests! Once again, no preparation for the surge that we knew would happen in November and December based on reinjections alone. This BU is terribly run and it isn't better.
then stand up and be a man and go public, why hide behind CF? either be a part of changing things or leave, you aren't forced to stay here. you'd rather just complain on a board where no action can occur? makes no sense and as a shareholder i'd prefer you weren't here.
really? tell us, who is hammering you for reports? haven't heard word one since the leadership change. just go out there and sell. if you had any courage you'd send your note to your DM, RSD and the NSD versus an anonymous post on CF. At a time where people are struggling and worrying about job security your worried about a weekly report. Grow up, get serious and do your job or just leave. we don't need people like you here.

You still are competing for chairmen circles, pod monkey, but those are driven by monthly sales not the crappy vp report that is pretty faulty in the first place. The VP report doesnt include account allocations, accounts that are under/in investigations, our territories that are not eligible. e.g. a territory listed as 45th may really be in 40th place because 5 other territories are not eligible, due to the fact that the person is too new for the contest.
This stream was not about selling! How people digress. This stream was about the lack of information/communication from our senior leadership. I have asked my manager every day where is the sales report. Where do we stand as a team. Where do I stand as an individual. They don't have the information either. It's the best kept secret at Amgen. You can only ask so much before people start getting aggravated with you. I need to know who has ordered and who hasn't. Who wrote a script and who hasn't. Don't tell me I would know if I was in the office enough. People, especially doctors, LIE!! I need the reports to call them on it, keep encouraging the offices that are ordering, and plan my general work life. If you can't see that, stop saying stupid things about pod monkeys. I've never worked in a pod in my life.

Try looking at the Contest Report ... it shows your unit numbers on the Report page
what's absurd is endless complaining. apply the same level of energy to selling as you do to complaining and you'll be a lot more productive. we have all kinds of ways to track our business, my guess is whatever you get and whenever you get it won't satisfy you. perhaps you should consider starting your own company.
Amen to that. I've worked for several pharma companies in sales and have never seen "real time" data. They are all captive to IMS data, which has an inherent 2-week lag. That's the best there is. As for sales credit, again, it's all about IMS. Sales Ops has made progress and changes this year to assign credit where it can be identified. Not perfect, but it never will be. Go complain about the fact that KK worked to lower your number after HT and CT couldn't. That move, by itself, made you money. Geez. Why don't you suggest solutions instead of moaning on an anonymous board?
